This video is exactly what I was looking for. I love how you go straight into it and get right to the point without all the blah blah blah and unnecessary fluff where it take 40 minutes of watching to get what you laid down in 12:46. The one thing I would love to see you do is a video on how to set up a permanently installed array that is compatible with the Jackery. This would be great for people who go between off grid locations, or keep their Jackery in the burbs for backup , but take with them to the off grid palace and not have to set up portable panels that can get knocked around in windy conditions.
I just purchased the Jackery 2000 Pro for the NEXT hurricane. I actually got it 50% off. Can't wait to put it through its paces. Thanks for confirming that I did the right thing.
This is excellent information. I just watched this with my husband, because we know a woman with a camper who might want to get a Jackery. Great content as usual!
I have a Jackery 1000. Had to save for awhile, but the first time the electric went out in a winter storm, my electric blanket was wonderful. Summer outages are bad for the hot house. So have Ing fans and internet are great too.
Great job Nate! Arguably the best real time use and torture test video of jackery's ever! Ordered a 1000 for prime days as many influencers use them and the value is there!
I got the 1000 plus because of your video's. I wish I had gotten the 2000 plus, but after 6 months I'm really loving the 1000 plus and appreciate your recommendation! Thanks for testing it for us.
Thanks for going into detail how these work! We're also off grid and have been looking into getting one of these. We use a generator frequently due to overcast weather. Our washing machine pulls a lot of wattage and will kick out power off. This may be helpful as a reserve instead of using our gas generator. I like how you can hook it up to the solar system (or off) to charge it.Great video Nate, many uses. I'll have to save up to get one!
I just got my e-bike this morning! Been looking at the electric generators for awhile, it’s on my near future list so perfect vid for me. Thanks for the info!
Hi there Nate, not long found ur channel, I piggybacked down with Will, lol. Homesteading looks like a great lifestyle, but I can tell it's a ton of work. I take my hat off to u and Jen. Ur living the way u choose, and have made it work. Not too many people can say that these days. Keep up the great content. My best to Minion, Az, Katana and any i might've missed. Edinburgh, Scotland.
i expect massive improvement to jackery type banks in the coming months as solid state batteries are entering mass production and once adopted will be a game changer in power banking
I enjoy your talks about solar battery backup. I'm thinking of getting a small setup myself to keep my cell phone, a light, and a small laptop running when power goes out. It happens a lot in the winter and when large storms go through.
This answers a great deal of questions.Still leave some questions unanswered. But so far try and do any better searching social media.Keep up the great work. This is the way people should follow your example😊
Thanks for this. I saw the jackery on Costco. But I like what you did and said about this brand. If I ever see these at Costco again. I'll be getting me one for power outages and to lower my electricity bill during the summer. 👍

Nate, you should check out Yoshino Power, the first NCM Solid State Batteries are finally on the market! _FOR REAL!!!_ You only see the _real_ improvement at the largest battery sizes, but the Yoshino B4000 it's freaking AMAZING!! 2611Wh for only 54lb in weight! Nate you once ran your camper on the jackery. A lot of would like to know if the new set up could run a small Rv or small living space like yours .. this would safe all equipment you have other than the jackery
I have the 2000 plus. I live out in the mountains and we lose power from time to time. Last time my neighbors were confused why my lights didnt go out.
Curious if you would ever do some kinda raffel or something to give away one of your old jackerys im trying to do a homestead in wisconsin and this would be such a upgrade personally just not in my budget yet.
I own a jackery 2000 plus and a 2000 plus battery pack. I see what he means if there was 1 more battery pack. The battery pack helps me just wall charge time to time and have a lot of power and keeps my percentage protected for gaming. But I am in the market for a solar setup, for the 2000 plus specifically. I was thinking the fact you need 6 for those results is there 1 after market solar panel that would work?
I'm honestly curious why anybody would buy a jackery over something like a bluetti or ecoflow? Is it because of cost or weight? Because of the battery technology, don't the latter two last close to 10 times as long as the jackery? I did the research and for that reason, I ended up buying a bluetti.
Yeah, she's not a moron, so I think she can understand how to plug something in. She's not the type of girl you need to hold her hand thru every little step. Nate wouldn't keep her if she was.
they sure do cost alot and are very small it takes 36 kw to run a house that jackery is just to small to be practical and at a cost $3,500 is just way to much when you can spend the money on a bigger generator the main problem with solar or wind turbines it would take 20-30 years before they paid for themselves for something to run a whole house without any sacrificing of running some things but not others the small camping trips for phones and laptops they work great but anything bigger they just aren't there the cost needs to come down because of that its really killing any progress of people using them
Hi nate thanks to your family including cats, a lord minion and Az for sharing great morning coffee content. Perhaps a tesla's or another plug in electric only range could be bannannas with a bunch of jackery battery packs and solar panels in the bed of a cybertruck *shrug* I have one hiker sized solar panel to charge a usb-c port for my bicycle kit. kept the phone charged at least on sunny days. I've been eager for wider adoption of full usb-c 3.2 gen 2 or newer chargeable laptops to prompt some availability of a good solar charging battery kit for a backpacker :)
My power goes out a lot in winter. This is going to be a life saver. Between this and the woodstove, it won't even feel like anything is wrong.

The problem with the Pro models is the life of the battery is shorter. The plus are heavier but will last longer.
