    There are actually two types of Ghana black soap the soft , grey and mild one like you are holding and the hard, dark and harsh one. For the hard dark one it's best mixed with shea butter before use. Coming from a Ghanaian sister

    Thank you my dear for sharing this valuable information with us. I have used the commercially colored ""black soap" before but wanted an authentic product. I'm currently using a black soap advertised by the seller as a "raw" black soap which is the soft brown speckled one (now I know it's from Ghana!). I love the rich lather when used on my face and body to help fade.acne scar discoloration. Thank you and continue sharing your knowledge I truly appreciate it.

    I have been waiting and searching for both black soap finally you made this video God bless you sis ,because most African stores here in New York they will either tell you that the black soap that they are selling is either coming from Ghana or Nigeria. Best comparison ever so basically there is no different after you wet both wow ,you are indeed a genius.I placed my third order two weeks ago and I'm still loving it hope you remember the girl with acne on fore head hahaha but now I am acne free and the supplement you recommended to me works together with your soap .My acne scares are fading day by day. you are such a very nice person with a gold heart I was surprise to received a text from you when I first started using your products you said you want to follow up with me I was like wow so many people don't check on their customers after purchased best customer service .I will tag you on your Instagram page my before and after pictures, Anyway thank very much God bless .

    A little over a year ago, I started using black soap and shea butter and went to a local beauty supply to purchase both. I bought TAHA 100% Natural African Black Soap coconut & papaya in paste form in a tub. A couple of months later, I opened it after using it the night before and noticed there were bead-like balls every where in the paste. They dissolve as I rub the soap in and when I asked a local vendor, she said it can occur with temperature and other things but that it shouldn't be a worry. I would just like your input on what it is, what it's caused by and if it's still okay to use. Google hasn't been much help and because I haven't found any articles about this type of issue, I'm afraid it could be bacteria that grew in there from exposing it to heat in the shower or something. I look forward to using your products in the future and thank you for your knowledge!!

    If African Black Soap does not go bad or expire why does the package have an expire by date on it? I have bought 3 different brands of soap from 3 different sources 2 from Ghana and 1 from Nigeria and all have an expire date on the package. Why the expire date if it doesn't go bad?

    • @FOLETREALTV
      @FOLETREALTV  6 лет назад +7

      The reason why some people put expiration date is due to regulation but my mine don't expiration date, African black it does not expire except it is expose to excessive moisture and it will start to mold . if u see any date on African Black soap it depends on the country .

      When you mix black soap with the basic ingredients like honey, camwood powder and a little Shea butter, it turns black. I think that is the reason behind the name black soap. We Nigerians always mix our black soap with stuff, depending on what you want to achieve

      Do you buy it online? Yes it possible two things can cause mold in black soap if you expose it too much excessive air, if not stored properly and it also depends where you bought it from, remember there are so many African black soap everywhere. Honestly black soap don't mold like that except something is not right.

    I used the Ghana black soap,but turns black after mixing and dries my skin.

    • @FOLETREALTV
      @FOLETREALTV  6 лет назад +4

      That is something very normal sis, anytime u mix oil or herb in any African black soap it will turn jet black or sometimes greenish black so it ok.

    So, there's no difference? I've always wondered why in Nigeria when black soap recipe is shared,they keep saying Ghana black soap. I wonder why we don't use ours then.

    • @FOLETREALTV
      @FOLETREALTV  6 лет назад +8

      My sister that is Nija for you o, but seriously some people don't know the difference after wetting both and you will be surprise the way people be asking for Ghana black soap in Nigeria just because the Ghana was wrap in brown paper and ours is in the loose form,when we can also wet Nigeria black soap as well and shape it in plastic bag . I am into skincare business for over twelve years now especially in soap making both African black are very good .

      We have issues in Nigeria, we believe anything foreign is better. I make soap too and I'll be sticking to ours. If we don't grow our own ,who will

      Folet TV haha it’s interesting because back in Ghana, the local name for the Ghana black soap is Alata Samina. Alata means Nigerian in Ghana and samina is soap. So I always thought the Ghana black soap even originated from Nigeria.

      first of all you need to do more research before commenting on people channel , I was born in united states but raised in Nigeria my grandma is from a village called OFA WHERE 90% mothers and grandmother live on producing red palm oil, shea butter , and black soap. there are two types of black soaps we have dark black and we have light brown . Dark black is what traditional herbalist used mostly and light brown is what most people use do various use. The dark black soap is called "OSE IBILE" light brown is called "OSE DUDU" THEY ARE BOTH CALLED BLACK SOAPS BOTH MADE IN NIGERIA BY GRANDMAS. THANK U! I DONT NEED TO DO RESEARCH BECAUSE I WAS RAISED BY MY GRANDMA ,I TRAVELED TO VILLAGE ALL THE TIME .
