I love your explaining while you're riding. It's immediate.

I see the horse's expression (in his face) to be much quieter and happier. He looks like he's concentrating on your commands/feel rather than thinking about his mouth. No bumping on his mouth gives him freedom to think about his balance with you. Really looks nice wuth a happy horse. I used to jump using a shanked hackamore and not pulling on it. (Didn't know about sidepulls or bitless bridles at tha time.)

I rode a horse out on a ride for the first time in a bitless bridle & what an amazing feeling. He felt 'on the bit' at times. I am inspired & will be buying a bitless bridle for my next horse 🎉

Lovely riding, but can you ride the same without spurs? Can you get the same form and frame without using spurs? If not, why not?

I’m not wearing spurs, you’re looking at the end of my chaps folded up. You can see in the video I’m not using my lower leg anyway.
