Distress Oxide and the Distress (small cubes) are different. Both are water based and water reactive. You can blend, but the Oxides are a kind of hybrid of dye and pigment. When the Oxide gets wet it gives a chalky or oxadized effect. When ink blending, you want to keep any tools seperate, one for oxide and one for regular distress as they can contaminate each other. Lots of videos by Tim Holtz explaining the properties of each. Distress is more for techniques and Oxides stamp better.

Girl, you hit the jackpot!! Wow! Amazing finds! I missed out on some of the inks that I was hoping to get but I still found some great deals! There are also clearance items in the baking section, the gift section (where the wrapping paper and shipping supplies are) as well as some stationary and fun lights and things up near the front of the store.
