All chef harpal Singh sokhis videos are mouthwatering dishes. Yesterday I cooked his recipe from Turban tadka episode 29 and it was absolutely delicious me and my parents loved it.
I cooked the dal makhani exactly and it was awesome and came to know that we actually don’t need cream at all . Super u made this daal so easy and tasty
I would have made this daal half a dozen times which has become a favorite with family and friends. .. your earthiness and warmth add that tadka and make the experience special !

Thank you chef harpal for this recipe. Being a gujarati & living in Gujarat I don't get more chances to visit dhaba s of Punjab. But because of your this recipe it replaced. It's authentic dhaba style dal makhni. Wow never thought such delicious food can be cooked at home. You are a genius.

Thanks and simple things but important which is why the rule book of ancient Indian cook any dal is useless without ghee..even South Indians add ghee to rice and then mix sambhar and eat

My question about Dal Makhani is can it be pressurized with huldi, ginger strips and green chilies then cooled completely, frozen in parts to be used later??? With doing the tadka when defrosted….. ? There is also one other receipe u have with black gram and few other Dal's mixed in it..and I have been trying to find that receipe on utube..but it's not there..many year's ago I have seen that receipe..very delicious. I think u called that also dal makhani, if u can get that receipe ..will be great! In the video u are standing behind a silver fridge.. Thanks a lot

@@chefharpalsingh I found that if ghee used then hunger doesn't return sooner as compared to for rice without ghee or any other meal
