Honestly Millie… what you just said, about how you’ve learnt how important it is to experience and feel a level of mental pain, because you couldn’t of said it better, you hit the nail on the head. It is a lesson that a lot of people do not experience, at least not to that level, and honestly it is so obvious to say the least. But long story short you are humbled and enlightened. Your skin is glowing by the end of the week 😍 Dr Dray has a really good video on slugging, she said just make sure that your skin is SPOTLESS before applying it, because otherwise it'll trap dirt in the same way it traps hydration. I feel like that might be why some people don't like it!xxx

My grandma is 93 and she’s only ever put Vaseline on her face since she wasn’t teenager and she has no wrinkles at all. Her skin is flawless.

I think this works be super helpful for oily skin too... Oily skin isn't the same as moisturized skin.

I’ve been slugging for about 2 years now and I sleep freely. I do understand why you’re sleeping on your back tho,because when I first started it was a little uncomfortable sleeping normally, so I too slept like a soldier on my back 🤣 but now I sleep normally and it still works just fine. Yes it gets all over your pillow cases, but the ending results are still very much the same, clear and glassy skin ♥️

I did this like 2 months ago for 2 nights and it made a huge difference on my skin. My skin looked so good. I stopped cuz to avoid it making my hair greasy I had to pin it back strangely and it was a big hassle plus it was so uncomfortable. I should really do it again but I don’t know if I can be asked honestly.
It's so hard adjusting to any new sleep position, but honestly committing to sleeping on your back is sooo good for your health!
Girlie I think the reason it cleared up is skin and me, not the Vaseline lmaooo I don’t think it’s a fair test to use them at the same time because skin and me genuinely does bits

@@gemcockrell don’t be dense🤣 skin and me is formulated by a dermatologist specifically for you skin, I use it myself which is why I can tell the results she was saying was most likely from skin + me so for the people who can’t afford that it’s not a fair test lol
@@heatherscott5985 I’m not familiar with the brand tbh. I just meant that the only way to judge if it was the Vaseline is to not use any other products which is obviously impossible. No matter what other products she was using, it could have been them

You have to really clean your face before using Vaseline you can’t just use it on a face with nothing on otherwise it traps all the dirt the same way it traps in the moisture so she can’t really not use products before
a hack i learnt from a hailey bieber vid, dont dry your face completely after washing it, then apply moisturiser to mOiSt skin, solved my dry skin problem. still got acne thooooo

Im happy for you that your skin has improved with Vaseline. Just know that you really shouldn’t put Vaseline on top of active ingredients because that would irritate your skin even more. Maybe that’s why you get breakouts in the morning.

i mix vaseline with a little moisturizer then apply it, to me it helps me feel not so greasy and i sleep better. i use the cerave moisturizing cream and it almost has a matte finish

I’ve tried every face wash In the book… the only thing that stops my face breaking out is (carex hand soap) sounds insane but I have spot free skin by Doing it as a ritual. Try it x

You’re meant to put the Vaseline on 1/2 hours before you go to bed so it doesn’t rub off on your pillow, I do my skin care routine like 3/4 hours b4 I go to bed
1~2 hrs or 3~4 hrs
1/2 hrs read like half hour n
3/4 hrs read like three quarter😅

Omg I did this and it made my skin awful once. Maybe I should have sat it out I dunno it was horrid though like skin issues I'd never had. The recovery took all of winter. I think I used coconut though not sure

I’ve sworn by this for years I swear, even when my acne was raging during accutane. I’d suggest using a clean foundation brush to apply it so it doesn’t feel gross on ur hands all night :)

2 things I thought might help you not break out is you touch your face quite a bit and so maybe just try to be careful with that and especially if you’ve ate with your hands.. and also with you saying you sleep with your face in your teddy every night it’s probably not good for letting your skin breath and also just make sure your teddy’s clean..

It doesn’t do actually go into your pores cause it’s so thick apparently, but the only reason it works is if you have scabby spots the moisture is trapped and heals the scabs faster doesn’t actually heal spots

I have eczema on my face, the part above my lip and in between my eyebrows are always dry. So Everyday I have to use Vaseline🥹
