  • Hey guys!
In this video I have shared how you can paint watercolor galaxies. I have used only one color for one galaxy. You can literally use any color with black to paint beautiful galaxies. I painted these galaxies using completely wet on wet technique. That means when the paper was dried I did not apply paint again to give more layers to it. The best way to achieve this dark and saturated effect with watercolor is to keep painting from the point when the surface of paper is wet till the point when the surface becomes damp. Also for that effect it is more important to use thick paint otherwise you will see the paint becoming light after the paper dries. Make sure you wet the paper properly before adding colors because if the paper dries fast then you will not be able to do color texture variation on the paper. That will result in improper color blends. At last to add stars I have used white acrylic paint. You can also use gouache. Play with the colors and water on the paper and you will get beautiful galaxies. I hope you guys enjoy the video!
