I never asked anyone for anything but I implored you to please dedicate Paradise to my son Eliesel (Eli) Rivera, he was born in the UK during my military tour 2000-2003. He was only 19 and really proud of being born in the United Kingdom, always reaching back to the land that watched him open his eyes for the first time, that’s how he found you and your music, he idolize you. He was in the school of business at San Diego State University and was a loyal fan until a few months ago (March 13, the worst night of our existence) when he suffered a tragic vehicle accident near our home in San Diego California while traveling as a passenger with his girlfriend and two best friends. I even have a video of him listening to your music, specifically “Untitled” and “Paradise” while receiving a present for his 18 birthday a Mini Cooper :). I been listening to your music everyday since the incident occurred and man, you will make an old man cry of joy if you could make this happen for him and the others in vehicle. Due to the pandemic we been restricted from having a proper funeral for him, leaving his brother (17, also your fan), friends and fellow students never getting the opportunity to honor him but this my friend will be forever.
