I don't think Jon has any sexism in him at all. I think he has strong instincts that sometimes come across as a little ignorant and his biggest instinct is that he bases most judgements (even if sometimes premature) off personal experience which is very human and hardly something to blame him for. With Sansa he only ever knew her when she was very young, very naive and quite mean toward him. When they reunite many years later in s7 he hasn't had the time or experience with her yet to see and understand her maturing and wisdom from her own experiences during that time apart yet he himself has lived and learnt through his many adversities faced north of the wall and serving with, leading and finally being betrayed by the nights watch. So in his mind he just leads and makes the big decisions naturally, perhaps often un-thoughtfully ignorantly, going off his own knowledge and experience but without realising the level of knowledge and experience that has been gained now by Sansa. This to me is all more like a subconsious trust issue with Sansa and self burdening from the trials he has faced more than anything. Over time since their reunion, the B.O.B, time in Northern court together and each personal 1on1 moment we've seen with the pair, you can blatantly see them both gaining more and more understanding and respect for each other. And like all relationships that need growth, you must have time. Just my opinion any way.

I've only just discovered this 'Jonsa' thing and am so relieved it never happened. A politically strategic marriage, fine, but they never showed any emotional bond with each other like Jon/Ygritte or Sansa/Theon.
Well, they were always the most distant in their childhood. Sansa saw Robb, Bran, Rickon and Arya a lot more in a "sibling" way but always referred to Jon as only being her half-brother. Jon was closest to Arya. That distance could make it easier for them to see each other in a "romantic" light.
Everyone in this comment section is so not reading what Sophie is saying right, Sansa just wants Jon's respect as an equal and she wants to get along with her family. And the bit of Dany getting in the way is meant about her home Winterfell, I feel like people are gonna be so let down after season 8 because I can almost guarantee the writers won't be doing another love story especially when Jon is already into Daenerys and with only six episodes left.

I've only just discovered this 'Jonsa' thing and am so relieved it never happened. A politically strategic marriage, fine, but they never showed any emotional bond with each other like Jon/Ygritte or Sansa/Theon.

Well, they were always the most distant in their childhood. Sansa saw Robb, Bran, Rickon and Arya a lot more in a "sibling" way but always referred to Jon as only being her half-brother. Jon was closest to Arya. That distance could make it easier for them to see each other in a "romantic" light.
Everyone in this comment section is so not reading what Sophie is saying right, Sansa just wants Jon's respect as an equal and she wants to get along with her family. And the bit of Dany getting in the way is meant about her home Winterfell, I feel like people are gonna be so let down after season 8 because I can almost guarantee the writers won't be doing another love story especially when Jon is already into Daenerys and with only six episodes left.

"Sansa is wonderful polititian" basically means she's good at telling people what they want to hear (like we saw in S7). I love what Jon did with the Karstarks and Umbers. Sansa questioning King's decisions in front of the vassals wasn't wonderful or smart at all.
In her defense, he should discuss those things with her in private before meeting with the Northern Lords, its unfair of him to keep her out of the loop and have her find out when everyone else does. If he simply took the time to say "Hey by the way, i want to give those kids their castle's back" and let her know beforehand, she wouldn't question him in front of everyone.

If it's not a stretch to accept that Arya is so damn good with swords that she could beat Brienne, it's also not a stretch that Sansa is as good in political games. But that's just my opinion :)
