The second Contact Fusion Yuamu makes, with all the flashbacks shattering...
Yep contact fusion is the 🐐
The part where Kuaidul came back and won was pretty cool to me; it was the best part; it gave Yami/Yugi vibes, so if there is a situation where Yudias is about to give up, Kuaidul could take over, but for a minute. I thought Yudias would let the darkness take over fully, but it didn't. I am not ruling it out just yet, it could happen later on when he is in trouble. When the darkness fully takes over Yudias/Kuaidul at some point his look will probably change. I would like to see some new darkness monsters show up as well.
Honestly my only problem with this arc is that Zwijo returned way too soon in my opinion.
Yuamu may lost the Rush Duel but she dealt a huge emotional blow to Yuudias and the others.
I do hope we get Goha Yuna's black uniform from OP2.
Ironically, her black uniform would fit well if Yuna decides to join Yuamu's cause.
Yuamu would rather not have lost, but she doesn't really care. After all, it's not like they can stop her plan. So let them have an explanation, it doesn't change anything. All it did was gain her Yuhi.
5:49 Honestly, the Yudias and Kuaidul sharing the same body is a giant reference to Yugi and Atem back in the Duel Monsters OG.

Ooh so this might be where the rovian, luge, and phaser shot in the opening can come in. They will probably be a big player in defending monster reborn from yuamu
Yuamu and her Darkmen. But yes, recent packs and reprints for Rush Duels hint that Rovian, Asaka and Phaser will Duel in the next Episodes.
Isn't The Luge a bit overkill?! That doesn't seem like a remotely fair opponent to fight! He almost erased all positivity in the Universe once because he had a bad day!
@@Debater As a Duelist, The Luge is strong, but not invincible (Zaion ultimately defeated him, someone who was already defeated by Yudias and Yuhi)
With his powers, The Luge is a potential brute, but he himself is aware and is afraid that those powers will get out of control (about eliminating positive media and being able to freeze other people). Something similar to Phaser, which we know he is a Space Dragon, an ancient Alien species.
Luckily for Yuamu, the group has Zwijo and he is good at planning things to deal with those problems (also, the clear objective is to get Monster Reborn, so they don't need to make a show, just be cautious)
@@brunosanto3488 Yeah, deliberate dramatics aside, your analysis is sound. Yuamu's no fool. She doesn't need to do anything huge, she just needs to get that card.
When go rush was revealed to be in the past i was convinced yuga stays there and becomes otes himself
It would explain the dialouge from their final duel where otes says: "u think u know how i feel" then yuga answers "of course i do" then otes smiled was for me a hint that hes yuga and knew that he knew how he felt if it makes sense xd
Or he has a connect to him because of other means.
Yuamu didn't reveal everything yet. Maybe there was more to her story.
Yuamu in the villain role reminds me a lot of AI from Vrains. While not as extreme as his plan since AIs plan was essentially suicide and yuamus is just removing her memories to become Otes it still feels very similar where they’re trying to remove themselves from the equation for a greater cause but in doing so there are major repercussions to not only themselves but to the people around them. Which I think is very unique approach to a final villain and it makes me very interested in how they handle her going forward with this plan of hers.
I think the fact that Yuamu wants to erase her memories...she doesn't want to deal with the pain. And she was looking at the other Velegerians as well.
I was discussing with someone else, and we feel she became an antagonist more to run away from her issues. Like the pain with the future and her descendant. She wants to prevent the bad from happening. But not growing from it. She more likely had a long time of isolation after being blown away from the Dark Matter wind to think about this. Crow even said in 5D's how good things happen, then the bad...and good things happen again. It's part of life. Erasing memories is anyway to escape....not embracing it.
I think Yuhi joined more to try to get through to Yuamu. That's obvious to me. And it more likely will fall on death ears. Symbolized by the opening when Yuhi trying to save her in depths of the abyss. Perhaps? I think Yuudias could be what brings her back. Or it could be a mix of both if she does listen to her twin brother.
Maybe it is a way to reset it so the changes in the past don't affect the future. Like a time loop...hence Yuuga can create Rush Duels in the future.
The fact Yuudias would have LOST if it weren't for Kutidal coming back and taking over the duel. It had to happen. It's annoying a lot of people as Yuamu would have won. Mortality she did...as Yuudias didn't have any more plays that could stop her monster. But it felt like a cop out so Yuudias can't lose.
Another theory is that Yuamu may also being the antagonist to bring the Velegerians back. She appeared to be smiling in the aftermath. And she was staring at the trapped velegrians as well when making this choice. And what if she feared Yuudias losing his life energy as well. Being he's one of her best friends....she did say she had other secrets...she gave away a few freebies. But only addressed another with the curry bread as it was a question they were asking...and only answered after she lost the duel.
I can see Yuamu getting a few big wins in the next arc. I feel that Yuuhi went with Yuamu to keep an eye on her and try to stop her.
Yuamu lost to Phaser in Season 2, so beating him a rematch would be really cool.
We better get phaser from yu-gi-oh duel links
I mention this when I watched the live stream, but here is some of my theories:
1. Yuamu might use Monster Reborn to erase everything about Rush Duels to fix the timeline. Maybe also create Otes with help of the Relic, to make sure Yuga comes to the past.
2. Or maybe even Yudias might use Monster Reborn instead to erase everything to "save" Yuamu from this, and make sure that all aliens leaves earth in the end. Not a happy ending but would be interesting.
Here's why I think it could work:
In ep 62, we all know that the timeline still is the same in Sevens since Yuga is still known to be the creator of Rush Duels, there is no aliens on earth and UTS might be gone.
This would also be technically a win for the "villains" ever in Yu-Gi-Oh! Of course this would also mean this season might be shorter, but s3 of Vrains was like 17 episode.
I like to know what you think of this 🤔
Man, Arc 9 of Go Rush was something else. Yuamu being from a YGO Girl to the villain really surprised me the most and she's like a Yugioh version of Aichi Sendou from Cardfight Vanguard
If that is the case then it's possible that someone else is the true main villain of the season with Yuamu serving only as a pawn. Also Yuamu's situation is similar to that of Ai from Yugioh Vrains and Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars as they all walked down a dark path with determination to save someone they cared about after seeing a future vision of their demise.

I called that too. The fact Otes we know is a man. So Yuamu becoming Otes is going to fail. It's going to be sad if this happens.
And it could explain Yuga's connection to Otes. Knowing him in a sense through the time loop. As he is an ancestor or connections to him.
Yudias only friend now is kuaidul, manabu, nyandestar and epoch

I feel like Yuamu vs Asaka will be most important duel and i hope we get phaser vs zuwijo
Season 3 Pros
- Character development for Epoch
- The Oudou twins becoming antagonists
- Really good monster designs and animation thus far
- Based on the next episode preview, it looks like we're heading straight into the action/no lighthearted episode to start the arc (which is one of the gripes I have with the show in general)
Season 3 Cons
- Slow pacing
- The Darkmen were underwhelming
- A lot more yelling this season
- Not a fan of CPT, the Darkmen, Damamu
- No explanation for why Zwijo joined Yuamu's cause (my assumption is bc he wants to help Yuuga, but it wasn't explicitly mentioned)
- No explanation for Contact Fusion
This season has reaffirmed my stance that binging this show is the best way to go. I would've hated to wait week after week given how slow the arc was. That being said, see y'all in October after episode 128 👋

@@JericBrual I was so happy with Epoch’s growth. She easily became my favourite character from her debut and I’ve wanted to see her get an honest win so bad. That win vs Sabyuas is one of my favourite duels this arc. Also her glow up is amazing. Obviously resembles Tiger but still her own character, epo.
@@SpecsTube I disliked Epoch at first. Namely with her cheating and would deny it. Her character growth made her much more likeable. With her not wanting to cheat anymore....

Watching the Podcast I think you're possibly confused regarding the Timeline
Yuamu has been missing for 3 months, the Dark Matter Empire has existed for 1 month, so the set up logically took at least 2 months
Also I don't think Zwijo is grey, dude wanted to die and got his wish so him wanting the Velgearians to stay dead is consistent
I have a theory about a potential twist..... which actually leads into that "Yuhi will become Otes" idea you tossed out.
Here's the thing, right now, both are still kids at this point of time, so if we assume becoming Otes means shedding everything about their former identity (which seems to be nessesary from what I can tell), then whichever one becomes Otes, likely won't be having Ohdo kids, a necessity for Yuga to be born.
Whichever Ohdo becomes Otes, the other one would have to be Yuga's ancestor.... and Yuamu seems pretty convinced that SHE is Yuga's ancestor.
Well, if I had to take a bet on which of the two is likely to be required for Yuga's existence, I believe we all know the answer to this one. Yuhi could become Otes without issue, but you still need a mother. It seems Yuamu has some "protective mother" instincts given her deal with Yuga. So, arguably, this means that Yuhi has a much better chance of becoming Otes.
On the other hand, Yuna did drop her obsession with Rovian to chase after Yuga. As an adult, it's possible Yuna could become very interested in Yuhi, but this then leads to a problem. What's the deal with Goha in Sevens?
I think there's another option here. Otes is, somehow, Yuga, but when the 3rd season of Go Rush was green lit, maybe the end of Sevens is about to be retconned or the ending is expanded upon in the last episode of Go Rush to wrap up both stories.
Yuga is going to return and help Yudias in stopping the sibling.

I think Go rush is going to end with the success of everyone getting their memory erased except the one person who's going to be Otes through a war. The success will also lead to the Mutsuba's downfall and Goha's rise with Yuna probably going to side with the Ohdos.
Well, one thing you can’t say about Yuamu is that she isn’t a very caring grandma…err…great grandma or whatever many generations separate her and Yuga.
I wouldn't be surprised if GO RUSH ends up being a Separate World reminiscent of SEVENS's past (it wouldn't be crazy, we know in Season 2 that many events in GO RUSH didn't alter SEVENS at all. However, several elements of GO RUSH do exist in SEVENS, but they developed in a different way)
Yuamu just got even hotter. She's the antagonist without being brainwashed. What a concept.

I also ship Yuamu/Yuudias...as it's hinted that some of the aliens are ancestors to characters of Sevens. And Yuudias would be so cool to be Yuga's ancestor too. And nothing went with that whole Zwijo thing. There are many reasons besides romantic as well. It's just our way of seeing it. I want to see. Like Velegerians may not even fully understand romantic love for all we know. And I find it easier to think he can be bisexual. So he can go either way.
Yuga's traits seem to remind me of Yuamu and Yuudias. Yuudias courage and instinct but lack of situational understanding and Yuamu brain and smart but slight clumsiness. Also her tamper tantrums we saw last episode. In theory. It just felt he's a combination of both of them. Which would make sense if he were their descendant. LOL. Sorry can't help it. It's just in my nature to think about shippy stuff. I am a romantic at heart. Even if nothing's there. It's my happy place.
While I'm still not too keen on Yuamu's turn to antagonist, I can admit it'll be interesting to watch. Her whole thing is similar to Nasch/Shark and Ai. All I hope is that there are consequences to her betrayal and actions (Unlike the Ryugu brothers who got off scott free).
I don't like Zwijo being here tho. You can tell he was brought back just to make the Darkmen look like a formidable force. He's the only one on their side other than Yuamu who posses an actual threat.
Seeing Kuaidul return was kinda expected and he definitely stole the show. We all know he'll be back again later to try something.
Honestly, Yuamu's antagonistic state should be compared to Nasch and AI since, realistically, she hasn't shown any malicious or evil intentions so far.
The best comparison is AI since I feel that both have the same goals and motivations, but different.
And hey, the only Space Dragon brother who deserved to be forgiven is Tremolo since he was just following orders from his older brother (and even when he tried to help him, Phaser imprisoned him)
I really don't want another rehash of Nasch arc. However the Ohdo Twins are getting involved more compared to Leo & Luna from 5D's.
Yuamu, while doing all this of her own volition, has clearly been through a lot, and undergone obvious Sanity Slippage from her ordeal. Beyond that, she technically hasn't harmed anybody, intends to primarily have herself as her plan's primary victim, and beyond that has actively been trying to assist in reviving the Velgearians even now. While she obviously has to be stopped, I feel uncomfortable with her being _too_ harshly treated when The Luge spent 80,000 years wiping out civilizations and was forgiven. I mean, Zwijo literally overthrew the government, tried to use dueling as a weapon of war, and plotted to wipe out humanity to steal Earthdamar, and he got a pass.
@@Debater Not to mention Phaser, who was quickly forgiven by many for his crimes when the one who deserved forgiveness was Tremolo after all.
The only villain who paid for his crimes is Kuaidul, physically dying. Still, his spirit/essence is still inside Yudias and can be revived physically (but that doesn't seem to be the case)
@@Debater Yeah, I completely forgot Zwijo got off scott free as well for all the shit he went and did. This anime has a track record of just ignoring consequences for the antagonists.

I'm curious if the next Arc Finale Duel will be a Yuhi & Yuamu VS Yudias & Yuga Duel? Also, I think Kuaidul was involved in the creation of the Dark Matter Space.
There has to be some sort of reason or intention that Yuamu got swept up like that. There is a clear questionable state of her sanity. And there’s no way Yuhi is going to let his sister do this. He has been going along to try and save her. As great as it is to see Kuaidul again, but I don’t trust him either. I hope Yudias will stay loyal to the twins.
It seems fairly obvious that the isolation, her week of near-death experiences (months with Kuyamuya), and the preexisting negative situation combined with her desire to ensure Yuga's future have only served to exacerbate her preexisting negative qualities. Off a glance, it's clear that she's undergone severe sanity slippage and is not entirely in her right mind currently.
@@Debater Add to that that she was mentally weak since Galaxy Cup (where she expressed fear of being possessed by a Darkness Card again). She was much more sentimental and mentally vulnerable during Season 2. Add to that also receiving all of Yuga's memories at once thanks to Monster Reborn (and it's not at all pleasant to have someone else's memories in your mind)
And well, Yuamu almost died twice: one was in the Second Arc when trying to stop London and the second time we saw it in this Episode: dying alone, without many possibilities of escape and without human interaction.
@@brunosanto3488 I also wanted to add she's looking at the Velegerians (however as well) in their current state too. And she may also fear Yuudias death as well. Like what if he ended up disappearing....because he ran out of life energy...and he may be doing this as means to bring them back as well. She was smiling when seeing Kudual by the end of the duel. It made me wonder.

The only thing that is 100% certain is that she is mentally unstable due to everything that happened to her and she seeks to become Otes (erasing her memories) for the greater good (especially Yuga and SEVENS's future).
So Sevens introduced fusions (DM), Go Rush contact fusion (GX), maybe yugioh 9 will introduce synchros if it's rush duels again

Otes: Not to mention that I don't need to seal my memories to be Otes since I remember my mysterious past well.
This arc has been something. It’s been very similar to Arc 6 in a few ways. Somewhat slow with different hits at different points and a 3 part finale that immediately brought everything together but not rushed in anyway. You really have to credit Bridge’s writing with the well done exposition in both finales. Despite clearing up so much, I don’t feel overwhelmed when taking it all in.
This finale by itself was top tier. We were all debating and theorising if the cat or Dark Meister was Yuamu and I personally leaned more towards the cat because of the ribbon. Despite that, however expected the reveal was, it was still so well done.
I love both Yuamu’s Contact Fusions. It mirrors her Arc 8 finale duel of using a fusion monster as fusion material. She really has lost her mind in some way during her isolation.
Kuaidul’s return was easily the most shocking for me. Reading the summary, I though it’d be Yuga who’d motivate Yudias to continue but instead we get our first villain vs villain duel in Go Rush and return of Darkness Galatica Oblivion for Kuaidul to bring it home.
And just like in Arc 6, ironically also involving Kuaidul, despite losing, our villain, and most of her group get away with a new recruit in Yuhi, although, I’m sure we all know Yuhi joined to try to get through to Yuamu.
Going into this next arc, there are so many possibilities for duel and the upcoming 116 duel already is so hype - Yuhi vs Zwijo Round 2. Personally, I’m choosing Zwijo. Before episode 98, I used to vouch Yuhi could beat Zwijo, but after 98 and 111, I feel Zwijo will beat Yuhi especially with his contact fusion.
I’m so excited for this next arc; damn this 2 week break!
15:30 Here's a question: if you could only have one revealed in this show, which would you pick - the identity of Otes, or the identity of the person at the end of Sevens?
I can see the case for Otes revealing that he is indeed an Ohdo and revealing his physical appearance (without the helmet). However, he does not reveal his name or explain where he comes from.
Still want an explanation of Contact Fusion.
@YugiohEverything i wish you would do these Episode reviews for EVERY Go Rush episode, instead of just doing the podcasts for most of them (especially since the podcasts never show actual scenes from the episodes).
I think another Villain is coming 100% maybe in like later episodes of this season who knows really we're just gonna have to wait and see.
Hello everyone it never gets old
Yudias is gonna be one broken dude before this show ends! I don't think Kuaidul will turn him evil, but, I think Yudias will become at least a little darker character than we've seen him! The thing is, we may have to put one or more of these characters possibly dying on the board by the time we reach the end of Go Rush!
If either yuhi and yuamu becomes otes, why did they want to destroy rush duel
Yuamu only wants to become Otes to ensure Yuga reunites with his loved ones, everything else is purely towards that goal.
dylan, your theory about yuamu maybe uploading her consciousness or memory isnt honestly something we can take out because it i s possible for the lukeman to exist, and the goha drones and kaizo to have their own ai, and those drones, aside from kaizo are able to take over a person and act on their own, it is most certainly plausible for yuamu to upload her consciousness and memory into a drone
So glad the this got revealed finally. I didn't see the Yuhi betrayal coming tho that was great.
Of course he only joined get answers and to look out for Yuamu.
I want to see Yuudias feelings in the aftermath.
Something I've been thinking about is
In go rush world in duel links would we get a different yuga or would the yuga we have now just get voice line with yudius and the rest of the gang

I just finished watching the ending of the 9th Arc but I don't know the names of these arcs and how long they go on for till the next one can you tell me the names of these arcs like the name of the 1st arc being from S. 1 Ep. 1 all the way to it's ending to start the next arc

hey dylan if you see all the yugioh series from yugioh zexal - yugioh go rush every main characters supports became the villans or somekind of getting bad thinking or wrong decision make thenm bab duelist in the final part intstead of geeting a actually new final villain in the series

Technically, I can see her being antagonistic for two Arcs (the Ninth and the Tenth). However, like Kuaidul, she may still be someone antagonistic, but she is not the Main Villain anymore.
@@brunosanto3488I agree and for the most part I feel as if there is someone else pulling the strings from behind the scenes plus the opening might indicate that Yuhi might be the one to stop Yuamu from continuing on this dark path like Playmaker did Ai.
Do we know which monsters she set along with dm galaxy dragon?
Because she left yudias with 400 lp, and she had 2 set monsters, like, dude, 1 atk could end him that turn, sure that dm galaxy dragon gets protection if theres a set card, but who needs protection if you win the duel?
15:19 Even for two series, I am starting to hate the idea of connected series. For Go Rush to make remember stuff from SEVENS is too much. SEVENS wasn't even that complicated. Nothing as epic as I dunno Zexal or 5D's happened.
I respect your opinion, but honestly really like the concept of connected series, and the connection between the two series is one of my favorite parts. Sevens was the shortest series anyway, it's not that unreasonable to ask you remember what occurred in it.
I was kind of disappointed in the fact that this arc introduced contact fusion, and we only saw 3 contact fusion monsters. Like, we didn't even see a protagonist use it, so why introduce it
Ironically, I like that Yudias hasn't had Contact Fusion yet as it allows him to show off his Duel skills more competently: showing that he doesn't rely on extra tricks to win, just his Duel experience.
The situation of Contact Fusion is similar to Maximum where only Yudias, Yuhi and Manabu got Maximum. On the other hand, Yuamu and Zwijo didn't get Maximum, but now have Contact Fusion Monsters.

The question for me is...WHAT is OTES? Is a god. Is it like the creator? The one the created the Velgerians. I also wonder if that's the true enemy....after they get through to Yuamu...as I feel something else is in the mist.
Everything you know about Otes so far:
- It can be both a person and a title: anyone can become Otes if they wish.
- SEVENS's Otes is a person and does not seem to be a paradox since both Yuga and Otes can exist and interact with each other.
- SEVENS's Otes mentions that he has been in Goha for a long time (being an employee)
- SEVENS's Otes also created Monster Reborn and is the first Darkness Duelist (who uses Darkness cards with Sevens Road)
- SEVENS's Otes mentions that he has a past, but he preferred to keep it a secret.
- Otes's Earthdamar gave rise to The Creator and, therefore, all the Velgearians.
- Both SEVENS's Otes and The Creator are linked to The Relic, a mysterious object that still has no clear explanation, but exists in both SEVENS and GO RUSH.
- Likewise, The Relic seems to have been the method to allow Velgearians to revive.
What can be inferred with all the information we have so far.
- SEVENS's Otes is an Ohdo (it may be Yuga or a relative or variant from another universe or timeline)
- SEVENS's Otes could be alive since not having your Earthdamar does not mean you die (see Yuhi)
- At the same time, SEVENS's Otes must be human to have Earthdamar in theory (but he may be more than just a human since he mentions that he lived a long time in SEVENS)
- The Relic may have built-in AI since the object was able to rescue Otes on its own in SEVENS.
- The Relic may have the ability to travel through time and space (since it appears in GO RUSH)
My theory: I think SEVENS's Otes is an Ohdo, but I don't think it's Yuga: but rather his descendant in the distant future. Likewise, The Relic allowed SEVENS's Otes to travel in time or travel between universes. I also add that The Relic seems to come from an unknown ancient period due to its design and appearance (it was mentioned in Arc 7 that the Ohdo family has a crest that comes from ancient times and was passed down from generation to generation)
I am taking the following:
- SEVENS is the future.
- GO RUSH is the present.
- Where SEVENS's Otes comes from is a distant future.
In any case... What about the past? This is where Yu-Gi-Oh 9th comes in.

I think that Otes ends up being Yuhi. Taking Yuamu's place (as SHE'S Yuga's direct descendant, Her maternal instincts are kicking in to make sure he has his future and he's safe.) And perhaps goes through time with the relic. Hence the connectiion Yuga feels with him. Like he did address 'he doesn't know how he feels' and Yuga replies 'yes he does'....
So Otes ends up going into the future....perhaps because of Yuamu....in order to help Yuga.
Of course it's one of many possiblities.

I really like Yuamu becoming an antagonist but I thought her putting Yuga fully above everyone else she cares for, including her twin brother felt a little out of character. I hope we see her grapple with the struggle of fighting people she once cared about when she goes back to Mutsuba Town.
Another thing I'm really curious is still what's Zwijo planning since we still don't know if he is plotting something and we didn't got any clues at the end of this arc since he basically just stood there in the background quiet

I'm trying to remember, but has it ever been confirmed how far Sevens is in the future compared to Go Rush?
Because if not, a lot of signs point towards it only being 1 generation away. Yuna and Asaka beginning the fracture between Goha and Mutsuba, the invention of holographic dueling, Yuga becoming Otes in the planned timeline, and so much more.
Like don't forget, if Yuga became Otes, that would mean he'd live that long too, not just Yuamu, which you mention at 16:19.
It's been repeatedly said Mutsuba was the superpower of the city a very long time ago, and a few other things heavily imply that Go Rush is relatively far in the past. Which brings back the question of age, but that's far from impossible for someone like Otes to pull off (see the Relic)
I don’t want to start another debate like we did with another specific show, but I think it has to be at least 2 generations, at most I’d say 4. If it was 1 Gen apart that would mean Yuga would’ve had a twin as well (I never took Bio so I don’t know if that whole twin thing skips a gen is true or not), so Yuamu and Yuhi have to at least be his great grandparents. At most his great x3 grandparents
@@nightshadow0089 as a twin, I can say that while having twin genetics makes it more likely to have twins, it's not a guarantee.
Well i personally think that the sooner Yuamu realises what she is trying to do & how she is doing it is a big mistake the sooner she stops being a main villain character & goes back to being one of the main hero characters especially since we all saw her with the other characters including Ehoko “Epoch” Kamijo without her box in the recent Go Rush opening anyone else who agrees with me on this one.

Is Yuamu now their enemy because if she then they have to stop her.
She'd rather not have them consider her their enemy, but her goals are ones that are completely incompatible with Yudias' way of thinking.
Could we see yuamu be the final villain of go rush?
It's possible, but I don't think so... I mean she'd have to remain the villain for another 39-40 episodes. certainly will be one of the main Season villains regardless!

Yeah I fell off by episode 60. Between Dylan’s reviews and Kevin Jones’s reviews on Go Rush this is pretty much how I’ve been keeping up with the show. And it’s very interesting since both of them have complete opposite views on Go Rush as a show.
@@FireFury190 I have to admit, I lean more towards Kevin's opinion on GR than Dylan's. Nothing against people who still enjoy the show/like it but I have way too much issues with the writing of the show that I can really enjoy it anymore. Season 1 was fine but since season 2 started, GR just became kinda meh to me. Yuamu becoming an antag just for Yuga's sake is also not something I'm excited about.

Despite the opening playing in the background, Kuaidul's turn felt horrifying in a way, the main villain from the last season just came back, used the protagonist's body while he was filled with doubt if he should even continue the duel, let alone win, and having his own protagonist moment summoning the twisted version of Oblivion. Easily a highlight not just from the episode but also from the series.
this arc for me is the worst of go rush so far. the darkmen are the worst villains of yu gi oh so far, the story has a lot of plot holes, the jokes are not funny, and they wiped out the rest of the cast to put worst caracthers, and this fixation with yuamu becoming otes is very inconsistency. the only good thing about this arc was epoch got finally her development.

Serious talk. Can we stop praising girls with the whole "The First Girl Character That Did This!" thing? It's just so lame. And I'm not saying this to be mean. Great characters don't need to be specified as male or female. Think about your favourite Yu-gi-oh character. Did you ever call him the best "male" character? No. You just say best character. So each time you precise the fact that they are female, you're pretty much admitting yourself that they are mid compared to males. Which I'm pretty sure is the opposite of what you intended.
