This is by far the best balcony cabin I have seen, feels like a normal hotel room instead of the typical cruise ship sizes. Also, Paul and Carole, you guys are inspirational. This is, without a doubt, the nicest balcony cabin I've ever seen. Love the large shower, the large balcony and hammock, and especially the bed (which looks like a king) facing the window, much like a river cruise ship. Fabulous!

I was working on this ship for 15 days starting from the 10th of May, me and a group of lads were part of the tiling team on deck 11, i was mainly on the hexagon tiles on the floor, great job and great ship, glad yous like it!

"better than a slap in the face with a wet fish" ...couldn't say it better myself haha. I use that saying so much 😂. Love the tour, it's so lush and I'm still wowed by that bed facing the balcony. Don't fall out of the hammock , that's definitely something I would do, enjoy! Oh and PS...I'm still not jealous 😉 Happy Anniversary 🎉❤❤

I recently booked this ship for next year and chose a balcony cabin with large balcony, saw your blog liked the cabin so much so Ive just amended my booking for the junior suite cost me an extra £500 + cheers for that, only joking just had to have it .........

Totally agree with you, I've done only 9 cruises with the popular lines but our Marella cruise on Discovery 2 was outstanding, never had such a warm welcome on a ship, it was like they were waiting just for us, crew were superb. Must say I do like the smaller ships, more intimate and friendly. That cabin looks perfect too, very well chosen...... Have a lovely time guys. P.S. Sorry I've not been "in class" for your live Q&A streams. My caring duties (mum) always clash, but I do catch up later, honest !!! I'm with you in spirit, breathe in that sunshine and beautiful blue seascapes, keep making those memories, good on ya. Vik 👍💕👍💕

Our first cruise in 2000 was on the Celebrity Mercury. A Panama Canal cruise. This ship did seem familiar. We had an inside room 👨🦳

We were on the same cruise but in a standard room. We had 2 USB ports and 1 eu socket
Really, we have now seen 4 different cabins and none of them had USB's. Some had US flat pins too. Obviously all different lol!

It's a totally different way of life isn't it. Cruise shops have certainly changed since i went on the Canberra as a young girl. The cabins are beautiful.

Great cabin and wonderful balcony. That hammock is a bit "close to the edge" for my taste tho....better hook a safety line to your belt loops.

Oh well we paid a lot less than that and that included a 3 night hotel stay at the end

You can’t get the app until you are onboard but the cruise control feature is available on the Marella website just Google Marella cruise control and it will come up😀

Just got back from one of these. Put simply,DONT. Worst holiday of my life. Food,shocker, canteen quality. Entertainment, amateur hour. Poorest paid on the ship the cleaners are the best. Trips ashore rubbish. Marella try and screw you for every last penny. AVOID.
