Well done guys in another great vlog. Very well explained. I think the concept of The Kitchen will be a great success and will prevent food waste and is more hygienic. I can well identify the problem with the traditional buffet, after putting varied food items on your plate, once you get it back to the table it doesn’t look very appealing 😂

Thanks for the explanation of how this works... It looks brilliant! Much more choice! There doesn't seem to be as much seating as in the buffets on the explorers from what i can see... Was this ever a problem that you noticed? 😊
We felt it was the opposite. We thought there were more tables and chairs in the Kitchens compared to the other Explorer ships. We never struggled finding a table to sit at. Thanks for watching our videos 👍
I really love a Marella cruise booked Discovery 2 for a week around the med,I prefer the Discovery 2 over Voyager just for the atrium and the walking track around the whole ship.
It sounds like they're essentially trying to take on Virgin with this one - not sure how keen I am for them to move away from the traditional buffets. I'll be really interested to see how this develops over the next couple of years...
Yes we did I had the chicken thigh, pitta, vegetable sewer with humus and a dressing which I cannot remember the name of. They did have the gyros meat that was spinning behind the counter. You can sort of see it in the footage but I didn’t take a close up. Thanks for watching
Thanks for watching. It does seem more efficient than the old style buffets being served to you. It’s not to everyone’s liking but there are so many other places to eat onboard if you don’t like The Kitchens.

We were on the ship with you saw you around. I enjoyed the food but we were on for two weeks and got real samey real quick
