    This is why RUclips is great ; back in the 80s played this tune Moonlighting when I was a saxophonist many times with some great bands and yet I never ever saw this show or associated the tune with this show. Here I am checking it out now on the tube.
    Looks like it was a great show, but from my point of view the 80s was in some ways living life fast and in the moment mainly because of a huge block of uncertainty on the planet , May be it's always been the same but the push and drive that was associated with those times to me seems to be reflected well on screen from what I've watched here. Thanks for upload

    I was a huge moonlighting fan- i have memories of watching it with my father- we both loved the show- in the beginning- it was so disheartening for hardcore fans to watch the show implode and fall apart and become the mess that it became before it was canceled- i stopped watching it after the endless reruns and backstage drama on set- i would like to watch it all over again all the way thru to the last episode

    The Moonlighting finale was inexcusably bad. Caron was gone (thanks to Cybill) and those responsible for that episode should be drawn and quartered.

    • @fbueller
      @fbueller 3 года назад +1

      Why did Cybill have him fired?

    • @gommechops
      @gommechops 3 года назад

      Oh thats why it was so bad, I literally just finished re watching them all and saw the last one tonight. I couldnt remember much about what to expect at all beyond the general premise of the show but I could see that with only a couple of episodes to go and David and Maddie still showing no signs of resolution, half way through the finale with barely a scene involving them together things were not looking good. Knowing Caron had gone at least lets me re write or perhaps add a few storylines in of my own to finish up with them both smoldering at each other and driving off into the night, her finally seeing it isn't him she doesn't trust, it's her own feelings. I can remember now feeling let down by the end when these first aired.. What a tragedy. Still, overall a great show.

      Remmington steel and Moonlighting were good but not as good as Hart to Hart. Because least no ego with Stephanie Powers and Robert Wagner when doing Hart to hart, Unlike Cybil Sheppard and Bruce Willis.

      You need tondo more research dude. They actually liked each other very much. They were friends in the beginning. Look at all the award show photos ,ect. What happened is that the show was run very unprofessional. The actors had to work like 16-18 hours a day . Cybill wanted to be with her child after 12 hours but Glenn would write the scripts late,and hand them to them 15 minutes before the show was filmed. It wore on both her and Bruce. Bruce wanted to do movies and Cybill got pregnant with the twins then. Then Bruce started getting an ego a d wanted top billing but Cybill already had it. I don't believe they hated each other. They just were together too much, and frustrated. Curtis Armstrong also said there was a boys club on the set and Bruce would get away with alot and Cybill was made to be a witch. However years later they have been together several times and are friends. There are pictures of Bruce and Cybill having sweet mome ts together at his roast which weren't seen in the actual show. And in the Moonlighting Memories video which is here on RUclips, you can see them dancing at the end. Its very sweet.

      Hard to watch? Cybill is a talented actress but was hard to deal with and everyone knew it. If it weren't for Bruce that show wouldn't have gone past the pilot. He balanced out Maddie's domineering, icy bitchiness with his own smart ass, macho energy which is why they played off each other so well.

      These two characters, much like in life, are completely misunderstood. You wish to characterize them as bad, when in fact they are good people who were highly frustrated. Define what frustration was for each character and you have some pretty good soft porn.
