THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I'm so excited to try this !! :3 I've been looking for a tail tutorial without braids for a while but I couldnt always follow easily because I need visual instructions, and this is so easy to follow for my way of understanding instructions :D
Instead of a pet brush you can use a brush with bristles but it doesn’t work as well. I also separate the strands by hand but the comb seems to work better so I’ll have to try that next time :)
This is such a good tutorial! It helped me out so much, as I am a person who doesn’t do braids this helped it was my skill level and I could see what to do most of the tutorials I found didn’t even show you they would either give you steps or just go way too fast, but this one was perfect
I just recently got into crocheting and my grandma gave me a whole box of yarn so I'll definitely try this! Plus I have unused pet brushes from my cat :3
Thank you for this pawesome tutorial! I saw this the same day you posted and started working on it immediately! A few days ago i got random assorted yarns from a thrift store, and I thought, hey, I could make a tail! So, I watched a billion million tutorials. Either they weren't descriptive enough, or they weren't what I was looking for. But then, I found this tutorial! It was straightforward, and you were clear on what to do first, how to do it, and what comes next. Out of all tutorials, this one is the best! I had zero knowledge and was uninformed on how to make yarn tails. But, now I know! Thanks to this video. I messed up 3 times but then I finally got the hang of it! I'm still working on my tail, I ran out of fluffy yarns, but It's looking pretty good right now! You are amazing! Again, thankz for the tutorial, it was very helpful. :]
Yay! I'm so glad it's helpful!!! I was worried I didn't explain everything in a lot of detail, As making yarn tails is easy for me because I've been making them for so long, and I seem to forget I'm teaching beginners. Your comment really made me happy! Thank you!!
Thank you! But im s bit confused, when I brush the stating one at the loop, theres a gap between the sides of the yarn in each side, how can I fix that?
@@SeaShell_OfficiaI Yes! You can use less strands to make it thinner. You can also try trimming them a little bit if you wanted, after tying them on and before brushing them!
@@Aki_on_paws I don't remember the brand name, I'm sorry. I got this yarn at Walmart though. And it's polyester yarn. Any yarn that looks similar will work!
@@Zirena000 thank you so much I am asking it because my nameless oc has half of her body white and half black and if I am going to make her mask/tail/paws(if you want to see her you can see her on my profile picture)

I love this idea! I like it because it’s very humane if you don’t want to risk getting a cff tail.
Im watching this at 3am and your mask jump scared me so bad 😭😭🤣

idk tie more yarn on it and hope for the best 🫠
@@russel_onpaws Maybe you could try making the first bundle of yarn on the loop with less yarn so the knot will be smaller
@Zirena000 tyyy!! ♥️
i was looking for a rut that didn’t use a straightener or the braid method, so thank you, may your quads be perfect (if you do any lol)
Whered you get all the stuffies? And your voice is so calming ❤

@@butterthemargay aw, I'm sorry ;(
You might be able to get yarn from the dollar store if you have one near you!
@@Mint-on-pawzZ I live right across the street from one!!
How long would you actually say one normal sized tail takes?
The Serval tail you see in the beginning (the stripped one) took me about 4-3 hours to make!
@@Zirena000 Alr thnxx!! Also great tut I'm using it rn to try and make a red fox tail

Can i use this tutorial on my fursuit?
Of course!
All I have is a comb
Mine's not really getting longer just fluffier
This isnt only helpful for tail.. YOU CAN MAKE FAKE FUR FOR THINGS LIKE MASKS! (which im so glad about bc im sorta allergic to fur)
I wanna brush the yarn but pick where to get one😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Pet store, Red dot near you, Target? K-mart, big W,
Or if you7 live in America, Walmart.
What yarn did you use??❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

@@Zirena000 okey ty
The yarn falls out and becomes flat is that ok?
As in caught in the comb lol
How to make tail that has half difrent and other half difrent color too?
