What an affect Burke has on people. First it was Roger trying to catch up with Vicky and when he discovered Burke was with Vicky before walking in on them he took off. Sam calls Collinwood and wants to talk to Roger who isn't there but when Elizabeth mentions Burke's name Sam hangs up.
EGAD! The sums that Burke Devlin quoted as how much Collinwood would sell for seem so cheap compared with today! I think a huge mansion like Collinwood would cost about 5 or 6 million dollars! Maybe more! I'm enjoying watching these old episodes, and seeing everyday things like rotary phones, pay phones, and noticing that no one carries a cell phone! I dislike cell phones as they take away our private time, and cause car accidents! I identify with the 1960s more than I do the 2020s. I miss the simpler times from when I was a kid! I love these old programs! ~Janet in Canada
❤Ah the good old days, when a call at a payphone cost a dime and when you could buy a vintage Gothic mansion for "100, 000 dollars to a quarter of a million dollars". 😂
I like noticing things that are odd. Did anyone notice that there's a button missing from Victoria's rain coat? It's the top right button that is missing. I noticed it when Roger met her on Widows' Hill. ~Janet in Canada

I agree with everything you said janet, the old days were the better days.
