Thank you! I just bought one and the delivery men brought it in, sat it down, and left. I had no idea how to hook it up. Where do I get an adapter for my faucet?
Mine won't snap on the faucet. It just falls off. I used the adapter that came with it. I spent an hour at HD with 4 ppl that couldn't figure it out either. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I even bought a new faucet.
The unicoupler should not be leaking - you're paying for wasted water. There should be two washer inside the adapter (if you have a faucet with internal threads). The adapter comes with the dishwasher and so do the washers. I have tried several combos of washers and finally found one that doesn't leak - but the dirty water doesn't come out of the house fast and I still have dirty dishes!! Anyone?
Have a question, in the unicouple, was there a rubber gasket/O ring that is removable? I lost that and now my connection spews out a lot of water out of the top. I thought it was part of the faucet adapter, but was wrong. Thanks for your help.
my faucet adapter isnt staying anymore, the water pressure pushes it off, anyone know why this is happening? it worked fine for months then just stopped clicking into the faucet securely as if the plastic wore down or something.
I just experienced the same leaking problem on my GE. Its only 1 yr old The washer inside the black connector fell out. When i a it back reconnected to the faucet and it started leaking. More than what is happening in this video.
I'm sure that you've figured it out by now but you either have to get a new metal faucet attachment or press down on the black adapter piece to depress the clips on the inside.
It's not quite that easy sometimes. It depends upon what outlet you have on the faucet. Sometimes you have no choice if you do not thinkm ahead. Dalta Faucet is a fine example. Think first before buy cheap that looks good. Just Sayin
that contraption attached to the faucet has one hose that takes water into the machine, and the 2nd hose brings water back out and empties into the sink after it's done the cycles.
I tried small and large amounts of Teflon tape, still leaks like crazy. I've ended up hanging a dish cloth over the connection to prevent water spraying everywhere, but reading a lot of water.
Dude!! 1 minute, no bs, and you helped me solve a problem. This is how it’s done!! Good work!
Thank you! House sitting and I could not figure out how to do this. Video was nice and simple and straight to the point. Very appreciated.

where does the dirty water go after you are done?

i would use a lil teflon tape for that leak
