It’s the new wave, epitaph is just way ahead of the curve. I’m a huge lotus fan so I’m definitely with it also. The “sad boy” vibe is definitely what I fuck with the last few years. I feel that man, me too. Morgan is giving a lot of people that sense of connection and mutual understanding through these songs and I'm so glad that he is making them.

Really good song. Not what I was expecting on epitaph, but I’m glad I clicked. Fellow 2005-2013 scene kids, give it a chance. Don’t be the obnoxious boomers and gen-x’ers that whined about our music.
The song is good and at least Hopeless Records and Epitah are signing good trap(?) artists but the name is cringy as hell

With the right promotion he could easily be as big as Nothing Nowhere who I feel has the crown for this genre right now. Hes also on Fueled By Ramen so youre seeing a lot of these labels start to pick these guys up. Im wondering which ones will go to Fearless and especially curious about Rise. Its inevitable, so Im gonna guess with Rise itll be someone more like Scarlord (I know I spelled it wrong). Will be an exciting few years for fans of the genre thats for sure. This is definetly where the youth that would have been in bands previously are flocking to now, will be interesting to see how someone like Sumerian handles it too. "Progressive emo trap" lol
I grew out of most of the scene groups I listened to then. And you can lump this right in with those.
