I tend to check my flaps with motor at idle. On approach to land one normally has a pretty low setting. In fact I almost always have my flaps on modes so that trim for a flap setting is locked to it. I got the impression you were checking flaps at a fairly high speed.

Yes I usually check flaps half throttle, but am starting to do what your saying now makes things much better. Thanks for watching
