  • This 1864 Spanish guitar was made by Antonio de Torres Jurado, one of the most significant and influential luthiers in the history of the concert guitar. Torres enlarged the size of the guitar, using fan bracing beneath a thinner soundboard, resulting in a powerful sound and setting the standard still used by luthiers today.

    I used to (try to) play leyenda when I was in my teens… never could the rolling finger triplets like i wanted. great playing great dynamics beautiful sounding guitar as well 👏 👏

    I've not heard it played just like that. Brilliant! Entrancing! Loved it! I've got to make it out to this place.
    2nd part: That guitar looks just like one you can find at Milano's. But it's 160 years old?! More Amazement!
