Demonstration done on a perfectly flat surface - how stable would it be on rough bitumen or concrete - and what if a rock or stone gets caught in one of the wheels?
@@jimgeibel2509 what do you mean without pressure? Definitely not. But next to the red trailer brake knob there is a black one, this one releases the brakes
@@crazyyoutubeuser2444 I went to the manufacturer's website this is manufactured in Germany I think it's been a while since I looked. The air system on there brakes are activated by positive pressure. In the United States where I'm from trailer brakes are deactivated by positive pressure. And they sell a air compressor upgrade for buyers who need it.
I do think it is a clever little machine and saves having to have an articulated unit stood doing nothing all day, plus it does not need the amount of room an articulated unit would need to manoeuvre, But I do think it could do with a wider handlebar control, other wise it is a stop on machine for transport yards with LEVEL GROUND for it to run on, Well done Verhagen leiden.
Great idea. Great design. The only catch is that my feet are squirming under my desk watching this because that short pallet jack handle lets the operator's feet get far, far, far too close to those wheels. For the love of occupational safety, please put a longer handle and perhaps even a fender/guard over those wheels on the user's end.
Hi This equipmente to movi truck of up to 80 tons over maximun of 40 meters in a straight line and level? Whats is the price of an equipment put in Brazil a port of Santos ?
How were the brakes released on the first trailer? No airlines were connected, however the gladhands were clearly equipped/installed. Looking at the second trailer, this is a trailer manufacturer - nice, but the greatest application for this would be at freight terminals or repairs shops - not at manufacturers. Making the air system optional is very short sighted.
Pretty slick! How are they thinking of phrasing drivers out step by step?

Yup. We have a ledge to cross over to put trailers on our load racks at work. This would flip
Is it equipped with an air system to release the brakes on the trailers
EddieTse more like necessary air compressor.. unless you want to back the brakes off every time the trailer needs to be moved..
JoeSloppyJoe i found out it can come with one. In the country it's made the brake systems are free with no pressure.

My company wants to buy this disposirive, But they not answer my email
so what country is this is where the trailer breaks dont need to be aired up??? is this a revers system, you add pressure to break??
All trailers are designed so you can shunt them without air suzzies connected. SHUNT button needs be applied though

They should make it remote control for safely .There is a serious risk of crushing due to the lack of drivers view,
As a trucker, no.
And some people are still saying that electric vehicule are weak....
Oh hey, this is great, a new way of stealing trailers
