@@RicArmstrong idk, i feel like the first 10-15 years dont entirely count. i barely remember much before i was that age and it wasnt until i was like 18-20 that i started to get a better sense of what was going on in the world and what the culture is like in broader segments of society
@@user-md3wm7vu1f That's a shame. I can remember my childhood and teens extremely well. I remember around 3rd grade I stopped watching cartoons after school and started watching MTV when they actually played music videos. I can remember a lot about my childhood actually.
There's something ethereal about seeing these 60 fps videos from the past. Even film, with it's higher definition, doesn't quite capture the lucid effect of what smooth motion can show. I want to see more...
The pitch, the synthesizer, and the sample of Michiru Kojima's 'Pool Without Water' made it all sound seaside-like. 🎧🤩💭🏖🌊🌈 It's beautiful and fascinating. 🤩
Jeff Lynne (ELO) and Tom Petty said it best in the song “Learning To Fly.” “The good ol days may not return. The rocks might melt and the sea may burn.”
The old pics of L.A. were cool. Reminds me of growing up there in the 1970’s. Lots of good blue collar jobs then. Aerospace, Steel, Automobile Manufacturing, and related industries. L.A. was a great place to grow up in during the 1970’s and early 1980’s. We had a solid middle class. Homes, cars and gas were affordable. Since then we have have had nearly 40 years of one sided politics. The Liberal Democrats have ruined a great state. The have caused excessive inflation, made it unattractive for businesses to stay in the state with the crazy environmental laws, lawsuits, and extremely high taxes and cost of living. Their hostile mentality toward business has ruined this once thriving state.
The 80's and 90's was such a fantastic time to be alive.
We didn't know how good we had it.
im jealous i didnt get to experience what is was like to live through it, but if i had id be like 50+ by now...

Oh my god, the nostalgic vibes in this video. Now I miss those good old days as a kid, so carefree...

i recently bought a nice 20yr old monitor and this old 'HD' footage looks so gud
I have a feeling you weren't even alive 20 years ago to appreciate that monitor for what it is and not because it's "nostalgic"
