The Evil Queen (Snow White), Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty), Gaston (Beauty and the Beast), Scar (The Lion King), Dr. Facilier/Shadow Man (Princess and the Frog), Mother Gothel (Tangled), Prince Hans (Frozen), and Jafar (Aladdin).
A video examining what would Disney villains be charged with if they were to be in court.

New Disney Crimes video is out, but with a little twist: ruclips.net/video/pQ5tRToQ-uM/видео.html
I have sentences for the villains, it's somewhere in the comments.
@Althaz okay
The bit with Jasmine does not really count; because she was only pretending to be under the genie's magic; she was not under his own magic to force her into the kiss.
I love it how all the villains who only have 3 or 4 crimes and then Jafar has 12 that just get stamped all over his criminal photo.
This must mean he is the most wicked Disney villain while Scar is the most evil villain
Also that almost if not all the attempted murders was just to one guy Aladdin, like dang dude!
And that's just the first movie.
Not sure, but Frollo has commited at least six crimes
That is why Aladdin is such a classic.
Jafar is also guilty of property damage. Those towers don’t come cheap and he just sent it straight into the stratosphere
True
It also broke in two, upon impact, and fell off a cliff shortly afterwards.
And userping the throne
Since he became the sultan, wouldn't that just be him re-arranging his house?
@@reginacoeli7106 Good point
I love how maleficent just teleported somewhere and instantly got charged for a crime.
To be fair, she did show up to an area where she had no permission to enter.
Did she enter tho ? What is entering ?
@@speedracer2008 Had she not? I mean fair she wasn't invited but the royal family had previous connections with her so she wasn't an unknown intruder more like a distant relative who simply walks in on the open door.
@@nemo99nemo83 True, but it’s pretty clear from the reactions of the royal family that they didn’t want her there. Not to mention, she entered an area where she had no permission to be. That’s blatant trespassing.
LOL that was hilarious
Technically Scar's third crime was also attempted regicide and/or high treason. With Mufasa dead, Simba was the rightful king.
Technically, Scar didn't commit any crimes. He's an animal and our laws don't apply to him.

For Gaston, they missed inciting a panic, organizing a riotous mob with malicious intent, physical abuse/assault of his friends and various townsfolk, continued harassment of a singular person and her family, firing a firearm in a crowded town square (reckless endangerment), Assassination/treason (since the beast is a prince), and I'm sure there is more.
As far as I'm concerned, they could bop Gaston simply for public douchebaggery.
If I was on the jury I would find Gaston innocent being that his main goal was to save a local towns woman from a beast who had previously kidnapped her father
The Beast was not prince *_of THEIR town_* though, so treason would not apply.
And no, his main goal was not to save the village from a dangerous Beast, his goal was to destroy a RIVAL. He senses that Belle likes Beast much better than she ever liked him, that is the real reason for the hunt.
Also, I’m pretty sure that his scheme with threatening to send Maurice to an insane asylum unless Belle agreed to marry him would be considered attempted sexual extortion.
He invites himself into Belle's house(trespassing). Pins her against a door leaning in to kiss her(sexual assault). And all the times he approaches her could amount to stalking charges.
Gothel is also guilty of trespassing, because I highly doubt she had permission to be in that castle
I think the kidnapping implies trespassing as well. I guess you could kidnap a baby from anywhere, technically...but the video probably is listing the biggest crime in any action comitted.
Not to mention over a decade of child abuse.
because of how she got into the castle, I'd consider it to be breaking and entering
Let’s see, from memory of the films events she committed:
0. She keeps that flower secret despite it being able to save lives (not sure if that is a crime).
1. As mentioned child abductions.
2. A lot of child abuse. Keeping her ward confined to tower, verbal abuse, gaslighting, lying and manipulation.
3. Child exploitation. She is holding a child prisoner so that child can keep her young forever via abuse and manipulation (I would argue thats child exploitation).
4. Criminal conspiracy (I think that is what it would be called); She teams up with the two thieves under the pretence to kidnap and exploit a child. (Although she backstabs them she still ends up doing those things).
5, 6, 7. As mentioned Attempted murder, kidnapping, animal cruelty.
8. Her accepting Rapunzels offer would probably be interpreted as a form of extortion or blackmail (depends on the lawyers and judge).
9. Even after healing Flynn she was planning to leave him chained up in the tower. Either false imprisonment (Flynn is a criminal but she ain’t the state) or attempted murder.
9. If she was planning on letting him starve to death this would be Breach of Contract since she and Rapunzel made a verbal contract. (However it would be easy for a lawyer to weasel their way out of this).
There are some crimes left out but you would have to elaborate on most of them and even then some would be up for a court to interpret.
i saw that too, it said it in the narration that she broke into the castle
Jafar's crimes made me laugh my ass off, lol. Also, Mother Gothel could be charged with attempted false imprisonment. Oh yeah, and the evil queen could be charged with child labor, and since Hans usurped the throne, he could be charged with high treason too. Gaston could also be charged with thievery since he literally stole the mirror from Belle.
Gaston was also harassing Bella! It was also one of the crimes.

“Soooo what did you get in for?”
“Oh you got in for that too, nice”

I like how at Jafar, he just gave up at “This Has Gotta be some sort of torture” to “Just plain creepy” to “Fourth Time’s the Charm”
Wouldn't his wish for her love go along the lines of attempted statutory rape? Or maybe he didn't want the algorithm pegging him for that.

I don't know but in context of Elsa I am assuming it means taking the identity of a royal or position of royalty falsely or it just means straight up killing a royal.
Regicide is killing a member of the royal family.

A few things
Facilier: When talking to his Friends, he mentions how he plans to 'get rid' of Big Daddy Lebouf, while holding a needle over the heart of a Lebouf voodoo doll, so I think we can add a Conspiracy Murder charge.

@@AlphaFX-kv4ud Uh, yeah. You said so yourself, they are scams, scams are illegal.
Technically Gaston also has harassment and attempted blackmail, and Mother Gothel has child abuse
actually I don't think you could say that, Gaston do have black mail and destruction of property aka the book. But harassment while the scene seems that way I think it has got more to do with Gaston being so full of himself that he's blindsighted as to untold body signals. Belle should have been clear since he was clearly not getting it that she wanted him to leave. I kinda feel sorry for gaston, he did do bad shit like the attempt to black mail and bribing the public official. But let's think about it, is gaston really the bad guy in regards to the beast, he doesn't know anything that the audience does the beast technically could be counted as an animal while he's in beast form. I don't think it holds up to call it attempted murder. It's like if someone found big foot and shot it then it turned into a person. Like it wasn't a person when he shot the creature. I don't know like the more you think about it I think Gaston and the mob were justified in hunting down the beast he was a threat to the village from that perspective, they had no idea whether he was dangerous or not. In a lot of ways I think Gaston is more of a tragic hero then anything, like even the black mail thing asking belle to marry him, beast did the exact same thing keeping belle captive so why does one get a pass but gaston doesn't. Gaston is also like a victim of being influenced by everyone in the village and no one outright telling him to change his behaviour. Like they basically lay it down like to the point that he'd believe belle would be better off married to him. I don't think he's outright evil either, like from a certain point of view while the whole scene with the book and all in the beginning was him being a dick he did kinda point to something, belle was being a outsider to the entire village and everyone talked behind her back, at least gaston was truthful with her and confronted her told her to her face what was going on. Belle was also very judgemental towards the villagers even like seeming to look down upon them, which probably wasn't doing her any good in making any friends. In a different story with a different set of events gaston would probably have changed or tried to if belle told him to. Like how she wanted beast to change. I don't think Gaston would either hesitate putting his life on the line for belle just like beast did. Like he literally did put his life on the line to save her from the beast which would have seemed like a horrible monster possessing her in the eyes of someone from that time period and with the knowledge given, like how could a woman fall in love with a strange animal creature? Like the more you peel away at it gaston was really a hero's who's ego and lack of self reflection turned him into a villain. Gaston was really a good guy with his head on wrong.
In "Tangled: The Series," we find out that Mother Gothel was also guilty of child abandonment.
Maleficient's "TRESPASSING" charge made me laugh more than it should have 😂

I feel like Judge Claud Frolo would give Jafar a run for his money. I mean the first two minutes of run time he commits murder and attempted murder. Attempted genocide against the gypsies, property damage to Notra Dame(cutting door open and cutting off one of the gargoyles), assaulting the priest, possible some form of attemtped murder charge for throwing him down the stairs, burning the families home after locking them in, burning half a Paris in his search for Esmerelda. He might actually beat out Jafar by the end of it lol.
Not to mention sexual harassment on Esmeralda. I mean Frollo be ticking all the boxes
Considering the time period, breaking the peace of the church. Historically in Europe, churches were basically untouchable. You couldn't arrest someone inside a church and you couldn't attack one.
Man the Hague would have a field day with Frolo
@acnologiaVillain of Hunchback of Notre Dame. Great movie, that in a way gets better when you are older.
Sexual assault against Esmerelda, child abuse against Quasimodo, false imprisonment after he ties him to the cathedral and since Esmerelda is meant to be a minor (16 years) some degree of pedophilia
For Mother Gothel, you forgot actual kidnapping of the princess in the backstory, plus false imprisonment and child neglect
Would also add for psychological abuse
Not to mention breaking and entering and/or tresspassing
Kidnapping was the first thing he listed for her tho?
Also bribery and conspiring with criminals
And breaking and Entering /trespassing
Could've also added assault to Scar's list, for the time when he intentionally knocked Zazu unconscious. If you included the additional scenes from the Lion King musical, you could've also added sexual harassment to the list as well, for when Scar propositioned Nala.
Fun fact, the crimes the video claims does not apply to Scar.
Treason Definition: a failed attempt to betray and take over the king.
Scar kills Muffasa, so the treason was successful, this is revolution not treason, and revolution is not against the law.
First degree murder: As I stated Scar successfully killed Muffasa in a revolution, meaning he has the right to become the next king if wants to. Also a successful leader of a revolution has the right to banish or execute the former kings family as seen in the French Revolution. So it’s justified for Scar to kill Simba.
@@BruhTNT4258 Simba defeated Scar in combat, and Scar died very soon afterward, so therefore Simba would have the right to take over as king after Scar's death. If Simba wanted to say after Scar's death that Scar committed the crimes of treason and murder, that would be his right as king, would it not?

Genocide would mean wiping out a specific race of people. But my question is, is necromancy considered to be a crime?
And he also conspired and attempted to kill Mr. LaBouff and probably also Naveen. And I think forcing Lawrence to commit crimes is illegal too.
@@rangerwill Maybe some form of desecration? Presuming that's illegal
@william technically necromancy is illegal as dark magic is also illegal
As Gaston's lawyer, my client thought he was entering an abandoned residence, and was mandated by the community to rid it of harmful animals. The degradation was accidentally committed during the perfomance of his duties.
Mandated by the community? Your client assembled an angry mob armed with farm tools and torches. Which brings us to the next two charges: inciting a riot and vigilantism.
3:09 I'd also consider sexual harassment, as he WOULD NOT leave Belle alone, also attempted regicide and inciting violence. For mother Gothel, trespassing and some form of child neglect (imo), for Hans, attempted regicide.
It wouldn't be though I don't think since he didn't know that was the prince. He would maybe get attempted murder though but since he wasn't fully aware he was a human it could be animal cruelty. Intent is part of the law. If he knew he was a prince and human and what he was doing was wrong then he would get that charge.
NGL, SOOO many Disney villains commit Sexual Harassment.
No means no, Gaston.
...wait, did Belle ever straight up tell him "no"? I think she said "never" at one point.
Jafar would get sexual harassment too
I don't quite remember Gaston committing acts of sexual harassment. He never demanded that Belle would do anything sexual for him. However he did encouraged a mob to harass and attack her father and the beast (+ pressure for dates) which is plain harassment.

🤔One thing I do want to say is that Scar committed domestic abuse with Sarabi and committed kingdom wide abuse by neglecting his subjects hunger once overhunting depleted their food source.
I mean basically what Scar did was genocide in a way?
@lord coffee does scar really need to be charged of his crimes on this list, I know the lions in the movie are sentient to a near human degree but they still act like lions therefore domestic abuse, murder, rape is technically "legal" in the animal kingdom. Heck, mufasa straight up says that they eat the animals even though they attended Simbas "baptism".
@@sebastiengendron6427 If it had been realistic, Simba would have been kicked out of the proud once he was an adult. Since he would be related to all females. Scar and Mofasa wouldn't have needed to compete at all. There are several examples of two male lions leading the same pride.
Moreover, there is no chance whatsoever that the lionesses would have allowed Scar to do whatever he wanted. They are the de-facto rulers of the pride.

You forgot about the sexual harassment Gaston committed against Belle, and the child abuse and gaslighting Gothel committed against Rapunzel (plus the conspiracy to have Flynn kidnapped and killed by the mercenaries), and Jaffa’s sexual harassment of Jasmine (and considering she was a minor at the time, that probably also counts as ped0philia)
EDIT: now that I think about it, Prince Florian could probably also be charged with sexual assault, or at the very least, desecration of a burial site, since he kissed Snow White while she was unconscious (and therefore couldn’t give consent). Sure, it woke her up, but he didn’t know that. He just found a lady in the woods, unconscious in a glass coffin, and decided to open it up and kiss her full on the lips. And Aladdin has his own rap sheet. Maybe there should be a version of this for the “heroes” too.
Jasmine was 16 and snow white was 14😨
It's just too bad that these movies *(with the exceptions of the 90's Renaissance and 3D 2000-2020's Era of Disney films, or course)* were made before people knew what the hell common sense and morals were... Especially since most of them back then were animated versions of fairy tales, which they themselves were from a time where humans had no decency at all.
@@gangstergoji2k5isgod People did know "what the hell common sense and morals were." They were just different from ours, so there's nothing "too bad" about that.
Also, "...a time where humans had no decency at all"? Only a Sith deals in absolutes. Any statement as broad and cynical as that is highly questionable and demonstrates that you're ignoring historical context. Same goes for the previous. Judging human decency from a bygone era with 21st century sensibilities is not only unfair and distorted, but illogical. As they say, "the past is a foreign country." The curse was changed, but on arguing magic as a deadly weapon in concept (since it does exist in these confines) it's properly second degree murder, and only because she did not have time to plan it out first. [If you want to further put a crime on her list, in the original tale the prince doesn't simply wake her up with a kiss. He fully consumates an assumed marriage while she is asleep... and she wakes up carrying his child. So that's on both parties * Disney wasn't going to cover that part, but I'd add it as background]
Gaston: I would further add - attempted Poaching on the King's Land. (He is a beast at the time, if Gaston wanted to argue he's a hunter and wouldn't be bound to human laws for the death, he WOULD still be bound for that one, as the Beast was the legal Prince and Heir to that land's throne - which since he was at that point adult and his parents were dead, he was actually the King of. Which is why I do not call Beauty and the Beast "Stockholm Syndrome." Nor what he did outside of his fully legal grounds. In that time, as her king he could have done FAR worse and been firmly justified)
Scar: Illegal exile of a rightful monarch. I do find it funny his henchmen were promised a free lunch; and then he became as such.
Gothel: Remove the Child Abduction - in the time of the fairy tale, barter was most common. She was promised the thing most valued for the lettuce he needed to see to his wife's cravings. So she was actually enforcing her own legal rights on contractual agreement... however the laws back then were also not usually documented, so most contracts were in fact verbal. It SEEMS like her crime, but it's actually Repunzel's father's. (Made all the worse in the movie, as he is a king... where in the original tale he's just a commoner, thus more likely to not be able to give anything of assumed monetary value) I'd also add child neglect. Since she only ever visited repunzel on a set schedule, for set purpose. Kidnapping, as her then assumed legal guardian [as above, she would have been] is incorrect. * You can only be called a kidnapper of your own legal ward if the other parent - most commonly a female - does so to the police. [Which I still think is flawed, but I don't write the custody laws]
Frozen: You forgot Elsa. That's all I'm going to say. As to her parents: Wreckless endangerment of 2 minors. Neglect of proper training of a child with special needs; which would have spared Elsa a lot of grief in fact, and frankly would have allowed her to lead a more peaceful life. But then we wouldn't have the sequel. Elsa, random property damage/destruction, involuntary attempted manslaughter (An ice spike through the heart is LETHAL - Disney!) again reckless endangerment of an entire soveriegn nation. I'd also argue ineligibility to rule, due to voted incompetence - since she never once thought to GET training for her powers and chose to be a shut in.
I think I'll stop here. I'm probably gonna get flamed for some/most of these. One last thing about Elsa and Anna; Yes... you do need a KING. The power of love doesn't need to save her because she's your sister. Gah. Do none of you understand the second most important responsibility of ROYALTY? There is a reason that they married them off without their consent, be it a prince or a princess. There's a reason being born royal more often simply meant until you learned enough to be an adult who could rule well... if you chose to learn anything at all, you were mostly a bargaining chip. Here's a hint; if you never have kids... there's NO ONE left to lead. Anything! Neither of the pair are stated to be immortal. So yes, the romance aspect DID matter. Also "Let it go" can definitely screw off. Even outside of being an earworm song. How about "learn some self control and you might not be normal, but you can bloody well function to the point you seem so." Yea, I know. Too much of a mouthful. The "bottle and blast" personality in pyschology is NOT healthy. For anger management, or in general, and it's certainly not something you should be teaching impressionable young girls. Or in this case a queen who could flash freeze the whole damned world. Just a thought.
I mostly agree with what you wrote. However, a couple of points: Rapunzel's story in the cartoon allegedly takes place in the 19th century, by that time laws in European nations were already documented. As to Elsa needing a king, that's not necessarily true. It depends on a state's succession laws. The thing is that, as you've so well pointed out, being a special needs person, she would probably not be eligible for the position of ruling monarch, married or not. This would have prevented her from finding herself a (potential) spouse even if she needed one. But, again, we don't know the exact succession laws in her kingdom.
Jafar: charged with being creepy. Frog from Hoodwinked: “yes, but we don’t arrest people for being creepy.”
"Long live the king" still gives me chills such an good line
Imagine all those villains in jail, they would've broke out immediately
Well let's see.
Scar: I dunno.
Facilier: yeah, considering his medallion from his "friends" is broken, he's probably gonna want to stay in prison.
Jafar: oh he'd get out, but he'd be on death row.
Gaston: probably would get out, unless it was a really strict prison.
Hans: yeah, no he ain't leaving.
@@Iron8127 all true!
@@karenarmstrong1818 the evil queen well, in normal court would be taken out of office by impeachment and sentenced to life in prison, that or on death row.
Maleficent wouldn't even make it to death row, as witchcraft is gonna get you burned at the stake.
Gothel would've probably never make it to jail, but she would have made it to hell.
I would have been cool if you calculated how many years in prison each one could get for their combined crimes.
Maleficent being a trespasser is a little muddy. On the one hand, yes, she actively wasn't invited and told she wasn't wanted, but on the other, a christening back then would have been a public event, right?
I feel like they were too harsh on Maleficent, and too soft with Gaston
That's actually true, it's the only crime that isn't true here because it's a public event even if you "weren't wanted" by some there, unless you where a threat to the royal line/ throne (eg known/ suspected assassin, suspected of any treason) you where welcome to attend because NOBODY was INVITED to it.
It did seem most of the kingdom was there by open invitation...but there is a difference between walking in through the front gates and teleporting into the throne room. o_O;
Some of Jafar’s charges were just too hilarious. XD
Evil Queen: 20 years in Jail
Maleficent: same
Gaston: 30
Scar/Taka: 25
Dr Facilier: 10
Mother Ghotel: 26
Hans: 30
Jafar: Life Sentence
Scar only gets 25? He actually committed murder, unlike Jafar who kept trying but couldn't get it right. Plus he committed treason.
Otherwise, it's interesting to see the jail time. Thanks!
I'd actually have Scar sentenced to death by hyena since thats how he died in the film
I would get jafar executed for all of his crimes, including the ones in the sequel
@@danielpeare8364 If you play it that way, most of them had death sentences.
Another commenter mentioned this: For Hans, he could be charged for his actions that may cause a war between two countries. In his case, his verdict might be a death sentence or lifetime imprisonment.
Gothel could’ve gotten another kidnapping charge since she did steal Rapunzel and although she’s not on here, Lady Tremaine gets child cruelty, false imprisonment, and destruction of royal property
Not to mention she embezzled all of Cinderella's inheritance and forced her to work as a servant.
6:39 Hans attempting to kill Elsa isn’t just 1st degree attempted murder, Elsa’s technically the queen, so Hans’ attempt on killing Elsa would be classed as Attempted Regicide!
See MOUSAIT’s version of Disney Villains getting charged.
Well he can’t die more then once.
As cruel as Ray's death was. I'm pretty sure it's not illegal to step on a bug.
Yeah-
Or id be on death row and my country doesnt do that
Yeah, but he talks and thinks. I'm pretty sure this is murder. Or do you think Mufasa's murder is just hunting or something because he's not a human?
@@yanagelfand4337 realistically we just think it's murder because we love these characters, they have personalitys and can talk, but again, realistically, it wouldn't matter, it's not murder to step on a bug, and fighting to become the leader or one on the throne and even killing another lion is normal lion behavior as far as I know, none of these animals are getting charges, and mr. "top hat death sign" ain't getting charges for stepping on a measly fire-fly, I'm sorry if you believe it, but let's be real, why would you charge an animal for killing another animal? Which is just normal on a regular basis, and like the guy above said, you can torture a spider or some insect, and all you'll get is people questioning your mental state, however just killing something casually and not torturing it at all is completely normal, you likely wouldn't get judged unless your dealing with an insect lover.
If stepping on insects was illegal, our prisons would've been insanely crowded ages ago.
Teleporting randomly into a castle is civil trespass, and not a criminal offense unless asked to leave and refusal to do so, or otherwise committing damage to property, which would make it criminal and aggravated trespass. Civil trespass not being a criminal offense would be unlikely to warrant any charge. You'd just escort them off your land. Unless you're a squatter perhaps, in which case you'd get a fine you can't afford to pay anyway where you'd then go to prison, but they'd be unable to find you again more than likely.
Either you put way too much thought into this, or you know WAY too much about trespassing laws for some odd reason 😂😂
@@kambrieearl5583 I've been looking to get into camping recently, which means I have had to research all sorts of trespassing legislation. Also a law nerd and studied it at college.
Yeah I felt like they were overly harsh on Maleficent. The notion that she did all of that just because she wasn't invited to a Christening is a bit outlandish to me anyway.
@@asha_vere if I remember correctly, it was basically a public event, so not officially inviting her was an offense, hence why she was upset with not being invited by the king.
@@gamewithadam7235 Although, in some regions of the world, if you squat for long enough publicly, you can inherit the property.
Gaston's should have included "Hunting out of season"
Jafar should have included "Property Damage"
Lol I love how Maleficent just appeared and "*slap* trespassing!"
If you ever wanna do another one of these I’d love to see Frollo’s crimes....that would make up half of the fucking video lol
Lol yeah
Attempted genocide
Abuse of power
Attempted murder
Sexual harassment
Child neglect
Child abuse
Attempted Infanticide
Elder abuse
Crimes against humanity
The darkest and in my opinion the best Disney Villian
To quote Wicked Binge: “What has this guy not done?”
Ursula the Red Queen\Queen of hearts, and Frollo could honestly probably each make up their own video. They have to each have at LEAST as many as Jafar or more. I mean the red queen alone could be tacked with a few ACTUAL off screen murders (since it's implied she literally killed card guards) animal cruelty on varying levels, attempted murder, slavery (of the card guards cause it's obious she has them doing way more than an intended job)
Definitely life without the possibility of parole.
@@drnpictures2155 don’t forget about the involuntary manslaughter when Quasi’s mom dies at the beginning of the movie bc he pushed her
For Scar’s, you forgot usurpation of the throne as a crime, as well as conspiracy to commit murder.
Also, I feel like coercion might be fitting for Dr. Facilier.
Mother Gothel’s “assault with intent to kill” really feels more like “attempted murder” too.
How about deception and fraud?
Like, in the song friends on the other side he starts telling their fortune, asks him to shake their hand and then immediately starts doing weird shit to them.
Like my brother in christ they only agreed to shake your hand XD
What about sexual harassment for Gaston
^
And for Frollo
and denying women study read for ignorance against their human right to wisdom, gender violence.
Pedophilia also because Gaston tries to make belle as his wife while she’s 17 & while he’s 36
Jafar commited 12 crimes
Out of everyone on the list Scar seems to have been the most successful in his crimes, funnily enough.
Maleficent should technically be facing a charge for attempted murder against Prince Philip. And if she had her army searching the forest, the town and the mountain for the princess, that would technically be illegal search and seizure and conspiracy to kidnap. There's also abuse in the work place, when we see her zap her minions for failure.
Gaston could also face charges for attempted sexual assault, as he attempted to force himself on Belle before falling into mud.
Scar would also face an additional charge of conspiracy to commit first degree murder, as he sent Simba to the Elephant Graveyard, where the hyenas attempted to kill him and Nala. Quite possibly a charge of false imprisonment as he imprisoned Zazu in a rib cage.
Wouldn't Hans also face charges for B&E, and possible assassination of Elsa when they stormed her castle? As well as false imprisonment? And technically, he would be facing charges of conspiracy to usurp the throne, as that was his goal when attempting to marry Anna.
Wouldn't Jafar also be facing conspiracy for high treason, as he was planning that since the start of the movie? Not to mention he was hypnotizing the Sultan to permit him to do whatever he wanted. Seeing how he ordered the guards to capture Aladdin when he learned he was the Diamond in the Rough, that could be a kidnapping charge. Quite possibly manslaughter as well, when he ordered the thief into the Cave of Wonders which resulted in his death. And seeing how the thief stole the half of the scarab and "had to slice a couple of throats," theft and homicide by proxy could be added to his charges.
Technically Jafar would have false imprisonment due to the fact that's how Aladan got prisoned there in the first place even if Aladan would've been guilty for stealing many things; Jafar specifically stated it was for kidnapping the princess.
There's no such thing as false inprisonment. There's kidnapping.
Gaston also could've been charged with animal cruelty lol
@The Movie Basher he tried to kill the Beast
@The Movie Basher I see you like to bash comments as well lmao
@The Movie Basher then why did you start it? Its just a comment dude, chill out
@The Movie Basher what do you want? A gold star? I really don't understand why you feel the need to continue to respond. So I'll stop wasting my time because theres 50 folks who found my comment funny and I'd rather not waste my time replying to you. Hope you have a great day
They are right though. If the beast was a human, had the mental capacity of a human while a beast, then turned back into human then Gaston was attacking a human
Scar telling Simba to run away could also be child endangerment, since even if he did nothing after that Simba would still have been without adult supervision and possibly died anyway (which in fact is what very nearly happened).
What about that scene where Scar hits Sarabi for mentioning Mufasa. So that means we can put assault to his crimes
You right🧐
And when he hits Zazu and knocks him out when he tries to get help during the stampede.
They forgot Cinderella’s stepmom: Child neglect. Or child abuse
É verdade!
No, npt true, as her guardian she is allowed to have Cinderella work to help out and gain experience. She didnt work as a whore, she even had fun with her pets and sang the whole day
8:53-8:57 Jafar is getting a lot of charge than the rest of Disney villains. 😆
3:03 I love the look on his face with the property damage picture.😂
Yeah, he’s like, “Shit! Now I’m gonna have to pay for that.” 😆
I feel like Gaston could've also been charged with harassment. (When he was following Belle & telling her she was going to marry him, grabbing her book, etc.)
Not just that but sexual harassment as well. Also, inciting a mob, destruction of privet property, the list goes on and on. If you watch both movies, you'd see that he did a LOT to get arrested for, but in the L.A. one he talks about what he does to widows....
I like the fact that mother gothel is just shrugging at the end when her crimes are being listed like “eh so it goes”
Some of these could have had more charges than they were given, I think Jafar was pretty justified tho XD
i still consider jafar as one of the most chaotic disney villains
4:05 looked like he's shocked that he's going to jail
I feel like as the acting monarch, the Evil Queen was well within her rights to have Snow White executed. If anything, the huntsman was the lawbreaker, defying a royal order.
Not to mention the dwarves: obstruction of justice, hiding a convicted felon, regicide and probably tax evasion too...
The Evil Queen was consort to Snow White's father and therefore an Queen Consort, but now the King's dead... Snow White as his only legitimate heir should be Queen Regnant already but she's an minor and needs an Regent which would be then the Evil Queen. So the Evil Queen has whatsoever no right to harm Snow White lawfully
@@mouniaamzil5630 that's assuming regency in fantasy land works as modern Britain: from all we have seen in Disney films, and many other monarchy during the course of history, this is not the case
@@Beregorn88 Regency goes to every country out there, not only in the UK. Besides, i know this is fantasy and fiction however the movies have some roots to history and place of the real countries out there. Disney film or not, they have to add something that makes sense in order for the movie that will work. But regardless of the fiction, i just was explaining to that person on how most monarchies work. Queen Consorts are not the reigning monarch or the souvereign.
Okay
The Evil Queen in those days would’ve been charged with treason and witchcraft.
I think most if not all Disney villains would be charged with witchcraft
This was hilarious to watch. Great video. Loved the out of box thinking.
I feel like gaston could definitely afford good enough lawyers to get him a lesser charge on at least the attempted murder, and maybe the tresspassing and such, since they could argue he genuinely thought he was some savage beast and not the rumored cursed prince.
But couldn't Prince Beast and Belle, Princess of (whatother Princippity Prince Beast rules over)- higher even better lawyers since they're royalty and Gaston is only maybe an aristocrat?
@@PrincessofEllabur Well Gaston would be charged and tried in criminal court and there would be prosecution/state as the other party. Belle and Beast would be victims/witnesses and they would not retain counsel.
It seems inconsistent to charge Scar with Regicide, while only charging Dr. Fasilier with animal cruelty.
Doesn't Regicide have to be committed against a *reigning* monarch? For Princes/Princesses/related Dukes and such, I have a feeling that the actual charge would be Treason and/or Murder.
@@MrMortull Scar killed Mufasa, who was the reigning king, so it would be regicide.
@@torin1006 That's not the point I was making; Scar *definitely* committed Regicide. Facilier? I'm not sure if trying to off prince whatsisface counts.
Stepping on Ray was definitely worth more than animal cruelty, though...
@@MrMortull You misunderstood me. I didn't say nor imply that Dr. Facilier committed regicide. I was trying to say that an animal killing another animal is not as severe as a human attempting to kill an animal that used to be another human.
@@torin1006 You're not wrong. Because they were animals, it may not be considered regicicide but due to anthromorphism we'll treat them as if they were human.
I randomly decided to do some research to figure out the most likely sentence lengths for each villain.
Evil Queen: up to life imprisonment
Maleficent: up to ~31 years
Gaston: up to life imprisonment
Scar: death
Dr. Faciler: up to 21 years
Mother Gothel: up to 20 years
Prince Hans: death
Jafar: ~561 years, probably death
(Because Jafar had 5 life sentences, I counted each as 100 years. I also considered him being a creep to Jasmine to be sexual harassment of a minor/child annoyance.)
Is it just me or is scar one of the few Disney villains that actually succeeded in murdering someone all the others are attempted
Frolo succeeded(Quazi's mom), though that wasn't entirely intentional, so that might be manslaughter.
Shan Yu from Mulan, though that was during war?
Scroop from treasure plant killed the soldier guy.
So yes, very few actually murder people. It's a lot of attempted murder and false imprisonment.
Too be fair the Aurora's Parents basically invited everyone to what was proclaim a holiday for their subjects to pay homage to the princess and Maleficent believe she was allowed to attend especially considering that the whole kingdom was their as well. The event was similar to want the Lion King had with all the animal with Simba.
They tool a side in fae politics and were surprised when a dark fae got mad they purposely chose sides xD
No wonder you saved Jafar for last. Everyone else has small criminal records, but Jafar's is actually a GD RAP SHEET!!!!!
Jafar's torture of the Saltan is considered elder abuse, and I'd say sexual harassment towards Jasmine at the end.
Yeah I think Jafar would've been looking straight at the death penalty if he didn't turn into a genie.
At first, I thought Scar was the worst offender. But then Jafar swoops in and excedes him tenfold
Didn’t Jafar also break one of the Genie’s wish conditions?
If you don’t know, they are:
1. You can’t bring anyone back from the dead.
2. You can’t kill anybody.
3. *You can’t make anyone fall in love with you.*
Yeah, he asks for that, but the genie didn't grant that wish and it doesn't count. Jasmine just pretends to be in love with Jafar so Aladdin can steal the magic lamp from him.
