Knights season ticket holder here so don't get me wrong but I definitely see failure coming for the Knights. Of course I hope for the best and do not want to watch them lose each game but the decisions the management/coach has been making there is no way they can compete with previous accomplishments. Fleury has statistically played better in Vegas than Pittsburgh and has been the face of the Knights. Lehner is great at blocking an initial shot on goal but any rebound/follow up shot he is not able to stop. Got rid of one of the best goalies to ever play the game, got rid of Schmidt who was getting paid next to nothing and replace him with Petro one of the highest paid and statistically not been near as good as Schmidt was. Got rid of the best enforcer in the NHL (Reaves). Got rid of the coach that took the team to the Finals the first year and has made playoffs every year. Along with destroying the foundation of the team and the Knights probably not having a chance of making the playoffs for first time in existence they have taken away all the fan favorites and many of the fans they have acquired will for sure be stepping back. I will always be a fan but for now a pretty disappointed fan.
