    I think we can now have people permanently living on Mars because we already have a good idea of what Mars is like because we have seen the images from the rovers on Mars. So in a sense we have already been to Mar as the rovers and satellites have given us a good idea of what it's like.

    1: Its there just rather thin. 2: you're simply wrong 3: its called filtration. Nobody is suggesting humans can walk around making open air log cabins on mars. It would have to be an air tight living quarters. If you would like to know more about the possible ideas on how it could be accomplished you can visit the Mars One website along with many others.

  • @johnadams5489

    The fly in the ointment is that we do not have a space vehicle that can transport humans to Mars fast enough so their bones will be strong enough from being in a weightless environment for extended periods of time. People need to walk and exercise where there is gravity in order for our bones to maintain their strength. Exercising on a treadmill or bike in a weightless environment is not the same thing. A Human would not be string enough to walk down a ladder onto the surface of Mars.

    • @SuperMagnetizer
      @SuperMagnetizer 5 лет назад +1

      You may be right about that, Mr. President. After 6 or 7 months in a transfer orbit to Mars, the astronauts' bones would be brittle and their muscles like jello. The solution is to send two spacecraft to Mars tethered together with a long cable and spun around their center of gravity to provide artificial gravity inside each during the journey.

    • @johnadams5489
      @johnadams5489 5 лет назад

      @@SuperMagnetizer
      Maybe. What we NEED is a much faster means of transportation. Space is vast, even getting a probe out of our solar system takes a long time. Lets face it, we're still in the Stone Ages.

    If humans had done this once before, would we know it? Is it possible that a one way mission was accomplished once before? Maybe humans on Earth is the result of a successful experiment.
