    This happened to me today when landing poorly off my ramp. :) I looked at the exploded view and manual from Traxxas and it just wasn't clear. Your 4 minute video saved me. If this were my Arrma Vorteks I would have lost a drive shaft. This thing popping our costs nothing. Good design now that I have replaced those toe links with the 7075s! I thought for sure that was going to break. Thanks for the video again.

    My son just got an Erevo from my Father-n-law for his birthday. Your videos have been helpful. Our pivot balls keep coming unscrewed, thinking we might need to upgrade the control arms

    Thanks for all the awesome vids, sir. You’re my first resource on revo 2 repair. I knew this would be fairly simple, but found myself not certain on how to get it back together. I did know jamming it back in was not optimal. Lol. Great content!! Thanks again!

    Thanks so much. Have a cracked carrier on my e-maxx, so this even applies to some old trucks. Found the wrench (never knew what it was for), and getting those inserts out. Thanks again!

    i got old slayer, missing boots and everything and the pivot balls are about ready to fall out it looks like, if they fall out do you need a new carrier to make them snug or is their some sort of bushing or something in it

    • @outsourcedrc

      I just put them back in. Its rare that mine come out.

    Hasn't happened to me yet but it's nice to confirm what to do when it does. I guess I need to keep that "suspension multi-tool" in my kit when I'm bashing away from home.

    I have a question when i run my revo 3.3 the rear wheels wobble I was told that it is the pivot ball if i replace the pivot ball will this fix that problem?

    • @outsourcedrc
      @outsourcedrc  3 года назад

      I am not sure, there are a lot of things that could cause it to wobble. Bent wheel, bent Axle, pivot balls, or even loose rod ends. Its just a matter of looking through it and seeing exactly what is causing it. honestly, if you are not doing speed runs, I would not worry about it unless it is just really bad.

    My upper ball joints have space in there that cause the wheel to move from wear and tear I'm geussing. Can I just tighten it up ?

    • @outsourcedrc
      @outsourcedrc  6 лет назад

      it sounds like the piece that holds the ball in is loose. Just tighten it, but not too much.

  • @thomashernandez4027

    You can also adjust it with an 5 mm Allen key. If you remove that blue dust cover their is a 5 mm Allen hex attached to that 6 sided plastic weird plastic peice.

  • @DeasyRacing

    What size Alan key is it?

    Does the pivot ball go in the front or back hole?

    • @outsourcedrc
      @outsourcedrc  5 лет назад

      It depends on how you want it set up. Its an option you have.

    The threads in my pivot ball are always backing out from vibration

    • @outsourcedrc
      @outsourcedrc  6 лет назад

      You may need a new A Arm. The threads could be gone. Have you tried locktite?

  • @taevy12
    @taevy12 6 лет назад

    Sir, mine keeps coming loose. I have to tighten it quiet often. Does that happen to you?

    • @outsourcedrc
      @outsourcedrc  6 лет назад +1

      Do you mean the ball keeps coming out of its socket? It may be stretched out. You may need new axle carriers. Once that hole gets stretched, the axle carrier needs to be replaced.

    • @taevy12
      @taevy12 6 лет назад

      Outsourced RC no I mean it comes unscrew out of the a arm

    • @outsourcedrc
      @outsourcedrc  6 лет назад +2

      Oh. It sounds like the threads are stripped out of the A Arm. You need to get a new A Arm I would think. You could try using some type of locktite on the threads and see if it helps, but you are probably going to need a new A Arm

    • @taevy12
      @taevy12 6 лет назад +1

      I just installed a new a arm. and i've tried locktite. it's wierd. it only happens to the left a arm. I am going to try rpm a arms and see if it fix this issue
