Ngl, I legit like actually honest to goodness collapsed on the floor and just stared at my phone (which fell on the floor) in shock. Then I silently cried.
My aunt was over for a visit.

Shoji caught me off guard because he's usually so stoic, and if he actually reacted that way to a character death (Tokoyami or Tsu for example), then it'd be a really powerful character moment. Same with Ochaco, just on the opposite side of the spectrum.
I kinda low-key wanna see grief-mad Kirishima cause that'd be so out of character and could even top Iida's little vengeance arc imo. Jirou too, but she's been established as more of a destructive and pessimistic character than Kiri, so it would be awesome to see, just not as surprising.
Aizawa's one hit hard because YOU KNOW WHY and the fact that that response would be so in character for him makes this hypothetical scenario feel real.
MIRIO NOOOO!
Endeavour being solemn? Not sure I'd want him hugging me, but it'd probably make a big impact on his character growth.
Mina and Twice being sad really hit me, because Mina is on an even higher level of pep than Ochaco, and I can't bear seeing her that messed up. Also, knowing Twice he'd probably fluctuate between "oh yeah, they're still here!" and uncontrollable sobbing, and no I am NOT going to mention the manga spoilers that I know most of y'all are trying desperately at this point to avoid.
Finally, Dabi wishing he'd died instead seemed really out-of-character in this hypothetical situation, because his whole motivation is staying alive in order to personally fuck over Endeavour in the cruelest way possible, and he doesn't really seem to care about anybody even inside the League of Villains (AGAIN, spoilers for something you probably already know about), but then it struck me that if you're an important enough figure in DABI of all people's life that dying causes him to go back on YEARS of preparations and stewing, then that's more than anyone in the series has gotten to, and that's most likely a win for the Dabi simps that are definitely lurking in this comment section.
