Before I get any questions... This track was originally composed specifically for the non-interactive demo. In the final game, the "DEMO.MID" fills the slot "Wandering #2". At this stage, I cannot determine if there was a different composition entitled "Wandering #2" that was discarded in favor of the demo composition, or if it was always intended (or later intended) to fill this slot with this track before anything else was composed for it. (I hope that makes sense.)
Maybe this is related... On the MacIntosh, there were two different Timbermist Woods tracks. More specifically, there were two music options in the menu: "High Quality" and "Low Impact". But IIRC, they were identical for every scene... except Timbermist Woods. The low impact version was this song. The high quality version was an extended version of the pegasus track. ruclips.net/video/A6uEPkr3hKM/видео.htmlsi=vaXo_-0d5-Dq148k
@@PinochleSundae This is the track, it seems this unused one. -- ruclips.net/video/bNcQ1N91FWs/видео.html. The filename is "FOREST2.MID". The normally heard Timbermist theme in the PC version of the game's original filename is "DEMO.MID." So, that could be the mystery -- that instead of using the intended Timbermist Woods music, they replaced it with the Demo theme. I couldn't find any information about it, so my best guess was that "FOREST2.MID" was for the Fairywood forest, since that locations music was originally for the deleted Golden Forest area.
Oh, so this is where this MIDI comes from! I first heard this song in an RPGmaker game, some time in the early 2000s. I think it was called "Bob's Big Adventure?", it was a silly game, with a Minotaur as the main character. Geez! I just Googled it, and the game is from 2001. Much older than I remembered.

You just happened to stumble across it by random chance? Heh.
@@XeenMusic Yeah, I listen to a lot of chiptune music, so RUclips recommended this.
