About the cigarette part, my parents told me something really interesting that i followed in my au, smoking was actully recommended by doctors and it wasnt even seen as slightly bad, everyone would smoke, around 80s, so when ppl would get sick doctors would say u were allergic to something in it or it was bad luck or sum
