He didn’t even scratch the surface of how great this plugin is. My fav is putting that C grand on the atmosphere keys and using that mod wheel to set a service off 🔥🔥🔥
I bought this plug in 2 years ago and still to this day haven’t even explored all of the sounds; yet due to being stuck on some of the sounds he mentioned in this video; this plug in is incredible!

Very nice demo.. i also have this on my computer for over 1 year, but have not had time to fully explore the sounds. This encourages me to take some time to do it. I also have a vintage MKS-20 sound module I bought new in the 80s, but you needed 2 modules to get stereo. Musicians at West Angeles COGIC, used at least 2 modules all the time.
I purchased this today. Word of advice, do not purchase and download if you have anything plan for the day. I am absolutely in love with this and have spent hours playing with/thinking about how I can use this vst in backing tracks.
I purchased this app but for my iPad Pro it’s a great app love it….is there a way to download it to my Mac? Or I have to purchase a separate license for my Mac????
I use it with my MO8. I keep the MO8 volume down, and the MKS all the way up, using a foot pedal volume controller. If my MKS/laptop messes up or crashes, all I have to do is raise the volume of the MO8 up. Both MO8 and MKS/laptop go to one mixer, 2 stereo channels, then out to the FOH so I only technically have one stereo keyboard out to control.
Thanks for the demo. However for some reason the C Grand is not sounding like this at all on my end and I don’t think the acoustic piano sounds in the app in general. Have you done any changes to do sound or it’s the default settings? If you did, is it possible to share them? Thank you
Please check out this video: ruclips.net/video/CQyY0eX4W-g/видео.htmlsi=rvikr3oVavUts182. All of the sounds you hear are directly from the MKSensation to tape (camera). I always make sure all of my demos or people I have do demos do this.
@@GospelMusicians I looked in to the video and by the way this was for iPad app version. However, the issue I hear is that all of the sounds do sound great with the same exact connections and playing except the acoustic piano sounds don’t sound good, they all seem to have some electricness to them and I don’t feel the real acoustic sound out of it. But anyways thank you for the video details.
Can anyone confirm whether this app has seamless switching, both between patches as well as when muting layers? I’m looking for notes to sustain during any sound changes instead of them being cut off by switching programs or muting individual sound layer elements. Thanks for any insights.
Yes and NO - Seamless switching between presets if all of the sounds on the pads are identical between presets - No seamless switching if you are switching between presets with different samples, because in order for this to happen, you would have to load the entire sampleset in memory and that could take up to 3GB and not practial. Remember we use Sample streaming and not loaded all in memory - We have Fast Sample switching and any preset loads within less than a second. So a second pause should not affect 90% of any performance.
@@GospelMusicians, that makes sense as far as when new sample sets have to be loaded. But say I had two presets where the only difference was which of the sounds on the pads are active. Yes, I could simply touch a pad to enable or disable a particular sound layer. But if I want to send a patch change command to toggle between variations of the same basic setup (no sample set changes), will I be able to do so without it causing sustained notes to cutoff as I switch? (If it helps, I'm a Yamaha Montage user and employ their Scene mode for a similar effect of adding or dropping layers on the fly without the sound cutting off.)
@@poldidak No this does not happen this way, but We may be able to put in a request for this. Remember Montage loads all samples in memory and on computers the samples are streamed.
PS: If you find any large sample streaming sampler plugins that can do this, please let us know, so we can reach out to the developer to see how they are able to achieve seamless switching without loading samples all of the samples into memory.
@@GospelMusicians I was thinking that what I'm looking to do with MKSensation could be done through enabling or disabling the mute function on one or more layers on MKS, similar to how I use the Scenes on the Montage to add or drop layers on the fly by programming keyboard control on/off per scene. I do like that the sustained MIDI notes on MKS Extreme are held as you mute one or more elements until after the keys or sustain pedal is released. It would especially convenient to program sets of mutes within an MKS Preset, much as you can with the Scenes on the Montage. I often set up as many as 8 different combinations of Voices within a Performance and can even assign a MIDI CC to step through the 8 scenes. Maybe something to consider for future MKS updates, since you've already programmed the "patch-remain" feature with the mute buttons.
That Pad Lead split was so dope
I bought the plug-in just for that sound alone 😂

@Gospel Musicians Deyquan? Is that one of Jamal's good friends? The sound at 2:07 reminds me of the Yamaha Clavinova CVP98.

Thank so much for the support! Unfortunately you will have to purchase the Mac version seperately.
Anyone played with the SAS piano emulation of the Roland RD-2000? Is it as good as the RD-1000/MKS-20? They even emulated the effects section.
Would you use this in a church setting as a stand alone

What ipad is needed to load this on...
The app costs a certain amount on the App Store, does it already come with sounds or do you need to buy from bookstores within the app?
If you purchase any of our apps that cost, then the Factory Content and sounds come with it.
