I always have a hard time making videos about Dean and Cas. It just never seems to work. But this season had so many moments between them. I just had to make a video. I could have made a video with just Dean and Cas staring at each other, cause they had so many silent moments these first episodes. I loved it. Not sure if I like this video, but I haven't posted anything in a while so it will have to do.

I was kinda bummed with Dean’s reaching out to Cas scene. It WAS good that he did it and that he specifically admitted being wrong, but when he talked about the anger and not knowing where it comes from... I disagree, wholeheartedly. That did NOT feel like Dean. I understand having that feeling sometimes and of course that’s SOMETIMES the case with Dean- the automatic reactions and maybe not knowing where they come from. But I felt the writers were purposely dumbing him down again, making him seem oblivious or less intelligent than Sam/others. Dean may not be super book-smart, but he IS highly intelligent, both emotionally and relationally. So as Dean started his speech to Cas, I thought FOR SURE at one point he was gonna say something along the lines of “I’m just hurt/sad about mom...” guess I should go write a small fanfic to “fix” this for myself, lol

I think to me, it totally made sense that Dean didn't know why he vented out his anger to Cas. I think Dean's been 'spoiled' by Cas in a way that Cas always accepted & forgave Dean for venting out his anger/frustration on him, because Cas become one of the closest relationship to Dean.
