When I first heard what you were making, I didn't believe it and I had to see it first hand! I have to hand it to you, this was an interesting build, but I think the humour in this video was a bit heavy handed. I really apprecaite how you compared the hands-on approach of the power carving with the hands-off approach of the CNC router. I feel like your kickstarter is going to earn you money hand over fist! I don't think I will be able to afford them when they come to market, but maybe I can get them second-hand.
Gentlemen. We can rebuild him. We have the technology to make him bigger than he was before, stronger, faster. But can we do it on a budget? He is...the 600 dollar man.
That's the Rockler 5'x5' shop stand with a double layer laminated 5x5 baltic birch top. The footprint of the feet of the machine is roughly 56x56" but the Y rails of the machine make it slightly wider than that. So the feet of the machine fit on the table with room to spare, but the rails and gantry hand of the left and right sides by a couple inches.
What do you use to edit your videos and do all your cool movie magic tricks? It’s one of my favorite parts of your channel second only to the awesome over the top builds.
Ha! Honest opinion is that if you want a turnkey solution that's very capable, this is definitely worth it. If you're the type of person who likes to tinker and modify machines to your liking, this is not for you. When you're comparing machines, just make sure you're actually looking apples to apples because the XCP looks expensive until you consider everything that's included that's not usually included with a CNC. For the presale price I think it's definitely worth it, for the full price I'd be on the fence.
This is the quality I come here to see. Nice to see them demonstrated so you can really get a feel for the practicality. So much fun stuff here, but I lost it with the Maker knife taped to the finger at the end. Entertaining and enlightening as always. Thanks for sharing!
"YOU HAVE AMAZING HANDS" !! Gosh, you are such an awesome human being!! Thanks for sharing and giving me a good laugh 😆! Looking forward to more of your awesome videos and projects. Very talented 👏. Peace and good fortune and good health to you and your family.
G'day mate, as a car guy not a wood guy ( you can't reweld wood when you break it) you are one of the funniest yet educational dudes on Tube You. Because of you I have started getting some cheap wood tools. I've watched all your vids. Even had a quick look with my 5 1/2yo daughter. We've attempted a couple of projects. Basic things like a box and a shelf. My daughter has some medical issues but doing our things, we can practice her breathing (until we start laughing). I didn't realise how soothing woodworking could be. Each time we finish something and the kid get to colour it in, we feel so proud. Not quite Homer Simpson. After 35 years on cars, you opened up a whole new world for us. Seeing my daughter have so much fun instead of what's normal is awesome. Thank you so much for what you do and how you do it. Never change, except when you need to. It bloody sweet as bro.
I called my Mom this morning. 👍🏼 but I’m drawing the line at eating vegetables! 👎🏼 Great project....but I think you missed a finger on the build though....oh wait, I counted wrong. Dang numbers trip me up all the time 🤷🏻♀️
I don't want to point any fingers, but someone's video editing skills are an arm's length above everyone else's. Only criticism would be, you were a little heavy handed when pushing the new x-carve pro on us...HAHA...ok I'm done.
11:45 _"It's such a robust and well build machine I didn't even scratch the surface..."_ Ha, I get that joke...wait, was it a joke? There are so much nice and silly puns in your videos that this might be as well one of them. 😁
Yay Jackman is back! Just got my first pair of Isotunes which I'm really digging. Finally something that works. Power tool, lawn equipment no problem. Now time to test them at the gun range.
Ridiculous, stupid and impractical. And fantastic at the same time. The Thanksgiving football was hilarious. And yeah, you made a really creative solution to some problem that I’m not sure anyone has, but it’s well done.
I can see those being very handy then again on the other hand it can be a handful at the same time. The engineering and craftsmanship is awesome as always
I love all the cool stuff u built. I have a idea for your next project with that new CNC? A old school hand crank drill. Think that would be pretty awesome. Just a idea. Keep the videos coming
Nice, but you solved the problem of the fingers not springing back by creating the problem of excessive resistance! It would be fun to solve this problem
I think it would be cool to make arms next or maybe a ring or wristwatch. Whatever is next, we are all looking forward to seeing the incredible creativity and refreshing delivery you bring to our lives. Thank you for sharing a bit of your life with us.
Glad to see you in the new shop, and cool new cnc. Also glad to see you have a extra set of "hands" around the shop....lol...your jokes are 🔥....have a great holiday...
I have to hand it to ya, you handled that project exceptionally well. You get a giant thumbs up from me. There was some other pun I was going to say, but I cant put my finger on it. You really nail ed it.
I have to say I am thoroughly impressed with your carpentry skills but what I thought was the best part of this video was you saying "but on the other hand", I was laughing so much at that incredible pun : D

I cut a little hand like this out of balsa wood when I was in 8th grade. I used model airplane hinges for the joints and elastic strips with thumb tacks to return the fingers. Fishing line to pull the fingers. Then I put a mitten over it. I wonder what ever happened to that thing 🤔
Have you tried to open walnuts with those yet? Nice video. I've seen a lot of your content, and liked everything I've seen so far. Keep up the good work.

I was going to make a joke, but I think you got all of them. You played a good hand here.
these puns are getting out of hand
This dude is funny I died when he blurred out sanding the finger
“On the other hand” - the pun we didn’t know we needed!! 😂😂😂
You are crazy! That was pretty cool
He nearly severed an artery with that box cutter taped to the finger!!! That had me dying!!!
@@geromelegnome5446 worth it
@@JackmanWorks your content is legit hilarious bud. And skills to boot!!! Keep it up. Glad to be a new subscriber!!!
9:00, nice, I've never seen a table saw used like this before, do you think the CNC router could have hemstitched this same type radius?
Thank you for doing something this silly.
It's the only logical way to use your giant screwdriver and knife after all.
And hammer
How about a giant keyboard next. You definitely like to make everything larger... out of wood
Well... you're onto something because it's going to be really difficult to type with fingers this large
@@JackmanWorks Where there’s a will there’s a way
These were made for socially distant hitchhiking.
Oh... wait...
Just sit in the bed of the truck, and you're good!
That was dumb.
Perfect.
Gentlemen. We can rebuild him. We have the technology to make him bigger than he was before, stronger, faster. But can we do it on a budget? He is...the 600 dollar man.
How is this giant hand used?
Lots of lotion
You can use them to count with when you're dealing with really big numbers.
I’ve gotta hand it to you, that is hands down some of the coolest workmanship I’ve seen. 👍🏼
YASSSS!!!! Jackman is back in his full glory.
I swear, every build gets more and more creative. And the humor stays just as good
the ad before your video was for the X-Carve Pro. that was weird.
😂 I think this means you're contractually obligated to buy it now
0:07 I thought that hand was going through the glass haha!
It was funny to watch back the footage and see the door shake 😂
@@JackmanWorks Might have been tough to replace that glass with those hands! But we all know you would have tried haha
I'm just wanting to know what you placed the X-Carve on, does it come with a table or did you have to get one yourself and if so which one?
Yes, at least the dimensions. I have one on order and need to have a table ready.
That's the Rockler 5'x5' shop stand with a double layer laminated 5x5 baltic birch top. "what did I get!?" A serious laceration? Nah. You put everything into these fun ideas. Thanks for keeping it weird.
Paul "Geppetto" Jackman will Pinocchio be a complete REAL boy by this Christmas 🎄 ???.
Great video 💯% 👍🇬🇧.
Great job. You deserve a big hand.
… it's ok. I can see myself out.
Good job, bro 👍👍👍 Hello from Russia))
Can't say I'm surprised, now he can give himself a hand, and a pat on the back at the same time 😄
You are #1 !!!! Pull my finger!!! LOL oh the picking....this guy knows hand jobs!
I was really hoping someone would get slapped upside the head, that would have been fun to see...hahaha! Great build!
So excited to see you back in action! Excited to see how the CNC does :D
I can't get my hands on those jokes. Are you gonna build the rest of Giant Pinoccio too?
Next...........

Have a Jesus filled day everyone

Mrs. Jackman_works is so patient with her children.
I really love how unique and creative your projects are. They're always worth the wait.
I guess there was a lot of hand sanding involved...
Kenny Everett definitely springs to mind...Nice!
Handyman... that is all.
I really hope you are making a fully wooden Jackman Mech suit for the apocalypse. That would be beyond amazing and hilarious!
Esto seria interesante pero con tamaños reducidos y especiales para protesis. Las personas que no tienen una pierna o una mano o un pie.
Fairly sure screwing big old screws into the wastebed counts as scratching the surface...
This was so stupid it was fun!
Great editing and stuff! Loved it!
so once the elastic cord wears baggy - the whole ting is fecked ?? epic
You and i got same something stupid thing to do pal! 😅😅😅
Awesome editing skills
Did you really tape a regular size utility knife to your giant hand instead of using your giant utility knife? Shame. Shame. Shame.
Great build! Great video! Keep it up brotha 😜
Hey what’s the name of the face mask you wear with the filters on the top? I can’t find it anywhere, don’t know what to call it. Thanks

The jokes were out of hand on this one :(
So can you pick up your giant screwdriver or hammer with these?
That knife scene almost looked like you were about to do some explorative knee surgery great build
Yes finally ! great video !

That box cutter looked pretty sketchy. Almost cut a foot off with that.
At least it wasn't my giant box cutter, would have taken my whole leg off!

Yeah I was kinda proud of that one myself....

I gotta give you a hand on this project. "golf clap* ;-P
Couldn't most of this have been made using a hand router?
Sure! Could have been done with a really sharp rock too ;)

Relax your own hand... notice how it curls? Your wooden hands are backwards. The bungees need to close the hand, while the cables open them.
Where in Massachusetts? I grew up North of Springfield.....
But....WHY?!?? I mean..I guess why does a dog lick his... well, you know.

Well...without a doubt.... this totally eliminates the need for gloves in the workshop...
How bout if we guess how much candy your hand can hold...we win the CNC? I say 174 pieces.

Could you please try making giant legs/feet? Maybe a giant Santa with articulating joints.
