Great video… on faces I get the eyes done first (controversial) but I find it gives me more space and less pressure… then I can smash out the face in a similar fashion to your approach.
Another awesome video! For pupils, I've found using a 0.03 technical fine liner pen gives me a lot more control. Hands still need to be steady, but as its a rigid tip 😅, it will give you a consistent result!

I mean how ever works for you 🙂 it could be easier to do eyes first maybe as you can shape them after with the base coat

Also what brushes do you use?
My main workhorse brushes are army painter’s regiment, character and detail then for the really small stuff I switch to a high end GW brush
Really love your work but you really need to work on gap filling. Try Tamiya white putty, it makes all the difference to great paint jobs.
