Patrick : Introduction to his writings in Ireland

Patrick (played by John Rhys-Davies) introduces The Confessio - his autobiographical account of his life and ministry in bringing the Good News message of Jesus to the Irish. Written in the 5th Century, the earliest surviving copies can be found in the Book of Armagh (MS 52), held in Trinity College Library, Dublin and in the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Paris (MS lat. 17626)
