Oh man, its always a treat seeing people react to this! One of my favourite horror films and the novel its based on is pretty great too. And Moder continues to stand out as one of the coolest monster designs ever, she’s amazing.

I feel that the God only want people in some sort of mental distress, so they're more inclined to summit and worship it. It's probably explain in the book the movie is based on, but I haven't read it yet.

Being a longtime horror movie fan, the Ritual is quite good for a newer movie.
