not sure how accurate this will be. hi. im a huge ann fan like i mean HUGE . here is my rundown /analysis of her lore/letters! ann grew up in a religious village, she had polycoria which meant her eyes r weird. she and her family raised sheep and when both her parents passed, she inherited the land. her mom died due to the plague that struck her city. her dad went insane because the village blamed ann for the plague, and he was stuck defending her, as well as grieving his wife. one day, alva came to her village and converted her dad to the eye of darkness. ann was scared and concerned for her dad, worried that he is abandoning his faith. eventually, anns father passed as well. eventually she was killed on a stake. most likely from her villages doing. thats when the cat came along. the cat would grant ann a wish (most likely the wish of life) on the agreement that she gives up her faith. it is implied in her deductions that she then took revenge out on seperate villages. in her 3rd letter it is revealed that her and alva became acquaintances , im unsure of what their specific relationship is. either way, they arrived at the 'proving grounds' (which i assume is the manor) together. this letter isnt all that much but it is from anns perspective. again, im unsure exactly what it all means. but she talks about how she will prove her faith. it also gave us more information about the eye of darkness. we know the apostle (anns cat) is a girl, and is not the eye of darkness itself, but more so a messenger/follower. (also note she describes there being some sort of challenge, which makes me believe that the ceremony is a manor game/game 11) 4th letter has me confused. i am almost certain it is written from anns perspective. but it could also be from another cult member. "i came before master herald, whose soft black robe smelled of tombstone" is one of the characters mentioned here. the name 'master herald' and 'soft black robe' makes you think it would be ann, right? but i dont think it is. because the writer of the letter talks about how shes the chosen one. theres also the mention of an intruder, which is most definitely luca. now for some unorganized notes and ramblings. in letter 3 she says "i know it is you who guided her flesh to me" (talking to the eye of darkness, most likely referring to the cat) ann seems to believe she is a chosen one, that shes special, we can also infer this from some lines in letter 4. there is also a distinct difference between an apostle and a herald and a disciple . an apostle is usually someone sent on a religious mission, or someone who represents said religion, like a teacher or a preacher. a disciple is simply a follower. a herald is a direct messenger of a greater being like a king or god. or, similar to a harbinger, a sign of something thats about to happen. another thing we should note are the bible references of apostles/disciples. there are 12 apostles of jesus, which are all disciples. there could be some potentional parallel with jesus (which is the eye of darkness or maybe even alva depending on what his letters are like in the future,,,,,,,) and 12 or less potentional disciples or followers including ann. another note is that ann used to be called "herald" which tells me that there is a distinct difference between her role as a herald and a disciple. this comment is so unorganized and is just literally a mesh of all my notes ive written down over the past few months........im so sorry if anyone read this fully.....

I had a different tought tho, is that the 2nd and 3rd letter were from Disciple's father, because the 2nd letter the person mentioned his "poor daughter", and in the second letter he talks about an "apostle" emerging from the darkness, a female apostle, that i do believe being Ann herself, but don't know if her father recognizes her, and that he's trying to prove his faith by beating the trials of the manor, and maybe become another disciple like her, or something like Alva is, if he recognized his daughter, that could had served as a boost for his actions to go till the end, since the already grieving widow who also lost his daughter, would be way more reliant to follow the Eye or the Darkness's god orders out of thankfulness for getting to see his daughter again.

Ann is my main hunter and I feel pain and envy, because unlike Zeez I have a yellow ping, which makes Ann much worse, her jumps are halved and it’s a nightmare 😭 On the other hand, I can safely not take excitement into matches against the coordinator or cowboy!
