given what you've described I'm not so sure it's rubberbanding, I'm getting the impression it's just quarks of the drivatars. basically drivatars can take some corners better than others thanks to the design of the turns and programming of the AI, remember how they all braked at the first corner at Indianapolis even if they didn't need to? This might be a good forza science. take each track, have the drivetars drive around it on unbeatable, record their times, and have the people behind the drivatars set a lap time in their cars (WITHOUT telling the real world drivers the time). If my hypothesis is correct a pattern will emerge where in some cases the drivatars are way better than their real world counter parts and the reverse on other tracks. this might get a picture of what kind of tracks players can set the difficulty to maximum and when they might need to turn it down a bit. make sure to do this in freeplay with stock upgrades to keep things consistent.
I raced the NASCAR series on the Longer setting which gave me more time to catch up and win the races. Also use VIP cards when racing an extra long race to maximize payout.
NASCAR is one of the few Motorsports in which the driver has to work hard to win. Indycar drivers push a button to pass, Formula 1 drivers have every electric system in the world, and endurance cars have traction control and the drivers switch every 1.5 hours. They all have hundreds or even thousands of pounds of downforce and the transmissions are mostly automatics. NASCAR drivers get a shift light, a digital dash, and a spotter in their ear. The stock cars have 725+hp, a 4-speed manual, no electric assist systems, and very little downforce. One driver, up to 500 miles, versus 39 others. Props to rally drivers though, they’re the best drivers out there.
I think the issue with this race series (I had the same issues) is that everyone is in literally the exact same car. So the guys who start in front will likely finish in front and you can't really fight your way up to 1st from the middle of the pack start without being super aggressive.
Kyle Daigle that's the whole fucking point and that's not true I race these alot and almost all the time the pole sitters don't win so learn how to drive
I've noticed how inconsistent the AI is too. I was constantly adjusting the AI because they were either too easy or too hard most of time. I eventually said screw it and decided to just race, regardless of the outcome. I'll go back and get first in every event later.
The reason why they could be pulling away from you on the straights is because (at least in real life) you’re not only pulling up to them with the draft, but you’re also pushing them. That or they could be drafting off of another car.
I feel like in the higher diffuculty, you can not have any issues in the beginning or else you are screwed. Definitely something going on with the AI. Maybe that has something to do with the early access. Not enough people have played it yet? Who knows.
The reason is because Nascar is based on downforce and Preferred lane so some times the draft is not helpful I’m a huge Nascar fan They did mess up on the restriction plate rule
I've tried doing manual homologation and it wouldn't let me start the race without reseting it to the way the game homologates because it says I'm not competitive
In a stock car? The NASCAR category doesn't allow upgrades because in NASCAR every car is the exact same. They only allow tuning because NASCAR is about tuning and being a better driver.
Not in Forza. In real life, it depends on how the car handles, and how well the driver can run the line. In Forza, it is most likely always quicker on the bottom unless you can run very smooth, or are a wheel driver. I run smooth on controller but when I run high I run around a 31.3 or 31.2 but at the bottom I can do a 30.5 and my friend, who is even smoother, can run a 30.1 and possibly a 30 flat. It is disappointing that you can't carry the momentum as often on the highline in Forza but it is what it is.
@@hotmojoe2483 You're welcome. Try running the inside. I let off on entry for like half a second, sometimes not even all the way. Then a can full send through the corner. Hitting a low speed of in the high 160s. The key though is being very gentle on the steering. Roll the stick, not tap it.
Nascar they have regulations with body and engine but everyone stretches those regulations to the limit and some teams do that better than others. Like in a real race if the crew chief isnt hassled and told to change something they stretched beyond regulations they arent doing their job correctly.
We're trying out the new 2017 Nascars today! Hope you guys have been enjoying the videos! What should we do next?
AR12Gaming Do More Of Nascar And btw call them "stock cars" not "NASCARS"

Vtek in a nascar would be like chillies in hotdogs

Love your videos Nick! Keep it up
Monster Energy Nascar Cup Series? More like Chase Elliot Cup Series! Sheesh Forza tone it down with the Chase Elliot.
That Buick that Nick picked up in the driver level thing is my dad's favorite car of all time
Watching this while playing Forza 6 feels like Forza 7 is a Expansion Pack
Im glad I wasnt the only one to have trouble with that second race

I remember having a lot more of a challenge beating AIs on Silverstone in Forza 4, must be a quirck
So happy to see that credits has been nurfed. Was very annoyed by the free handout

If you want a more stable turn on daytona you can press the stick forward. Then you can get a smooth and stable turn
Nick-"I am a NASCAR god" 😂😂doesn't take much skill....just turn left
start on the outside end on the inside for the best speed
SHAKE AND BAKE BABYYYYY
The ting goes skrrrahh, pap, pap, ka-ka-ka
Skibiki-pap-pap, and a pu-pu-pudrrrr-boom
Skya, du-du-ku-ku-dun-dun
Poom, poom, you dun know
*shaken bake for the overtake*
The NASCAR tournament one of the forza cups that looks very fun and interesting to race.
Considering how Mountain Dew and the NAPA are both by Hendricks Motorsport which is co-owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr, they're relatively equal
You get that shake'n'bake line from tallegega nights
It was difficult for me with Trophy Trucks too. Idk that might just be me tho.
The only races I got first in this series were homestead, Indianapolis and Daytona. Every other track was just impossible.
Funny how you got the game on September 28th and yet I’m just about to start the Domination championship in Forza 7.
how do you get out of career mode and free play, rent a car of your choice any car on the game like forza 6 and play split screen with a friend?
Have bean, has bean. Been not bean.
I am a NASCAR god!
Nick= Richard Hammond
Lol
NASCAR yeeeeeeeeeeeees i love NASCAR
1 race :Miami,2 race Watkins glen, 3 race indy
I watch NASCAR for the wrecks
same
STFU
Wow convenient how the cam is right over you being level 600
The reason is because Nascar is based on downforce and Preferred lane so some times the draft is not helpful
I’m a huge Nascar fan
They did mess up on the restriction plate rule
I was about to correct you for saying nascars my stock cars then as I was typing my comment you corrected yourself lol
Yep expert is quite easy and pro is quite hard it is also certain tracks
OMG I REMEMBER THE SECOND TRACK FROM NASCAR 09
the reason they are pulling ahead is because the engines are the same but their setups are different
Three wide at Sonoma would never work in real life lol. Someone's going in the wall.
Wish this game would have pit crews like advertised
Great video nick, please reply!!!
Shake and bake,if your not first your last, sling shot
good thing you did not do 18 skittles because the driver is fast but has SUPER unlucky
Me watching this 4 years later also knows that that is Chase Elliott and driving for Hendrick motersports
You ain't no SuperGT. He can actually race.
Go with 18 he's the best driver, he broke his leg when season then won the championship this in the same season
Dale Earnhardt Jr. drives the Mountain Dew car
I miss the old games when you didn't need to buy more cars for the game neither to have VIP or any of that rubbish I miss them type of games ☹️
when was a Mtn Dew a meme? like that was 3-4 years ago!
Can you make Best Tuner Car Challenge???
Can I ask you a question? What happened to the FH3 monthly Forzathon Updates on your page?
Wish they would of put the tack in the game that Tony Stewart owns eldora speedway
Oof my grandma was literally RIGHT by me, like sitting next to me when I clicked on the video - -on full volume...
The 24 is Chase Elliott now lol Jeff Gordon retired two years ago... Chase is the new bandwagon driver

ZZBoss Gaming I don't think so bc her insta still has ar12 in it
Stig 1738 what is her Instagram?
I feel like forza 6 and even fh3 had the same problem... this is also why I got the cheapest version of the game...
Spencer Peat what problem?
Whats the difference between FM7 Special edition and Ultimate????
Andreja Milivojevic Ultimate Edition gets you the game 4 days earlier than standard edition and Deluxe, also expansion pass
I did the same thing but there was literally a massive big Destruction

I've tried doing manual homologation and it wouldn't let me start the race without reseting it to the way the game homologates because it says I'm not competitive

Jeff Gordan retired. It's Chase Eliot now... :(

DO THE CLASSIC GP CARS
If you do a championship and the two showcases you will get enough
Nascar with vtec is a lambo on stareoids
It was killing me watching him take the low line when the fast line is the high line in Miami

@@troyandrade615 The more you know, thanks for explaining that dude. That’s crazy that the IRL fast line is almost a second slower than the Forza time
In-game, I mean

Does anyone else realize the nascars have the same engine sound as the Lola T70 Le Mans racer from fh3

Na just your average online race
Just bump up the race length to long you earn so much more credits with mods and highly skilled ai I can make between 70,000 to 100,000 credits a race
Ketsurui199 but how much longer is it?
Louie Salads it’s 7 laps which so not much longer
Nick before he got his white van
Chase Ellieot is 24, Jeff Gordon is retired
Anyone watching the SuperCheapAuto Bathurst 1000 tomorrow??
Wot in nascarnation
Inhate the drafting in this game
I have Forza moter sport 4and I have second track you were on
do early prototypes
1 on 1 Jeff any day bro
you said something about a gt40 controller to win
I have a question, where do you want fh4 to be . I say tokyo
In Forza, the way to win NASCAR is to race dirty. Push people, slam them, do what you have to to win. Racing clean doesn't work
I have a question why does every car have the number 24 on it?
The BMW m4 gts has safety lights
