For a hero so micro-intensive, she should really have stronger power to make up for it. Not as strong as corvus but she should be more than just a glorified discount village
I don't think she's meant to be micro'd so much nor to be solo'd with. I think she's more or less supposed to fill in gaps in your defense depending on your needs(laser if you lack moab support, grenades if you lack ceram cleanup, can be moved in between rounds if you need to cover a certain part of the track). I do think she is indeed underpowered and needs buffs regarding her grenades, xp curve, and QOL, but even before she was announced nk said on twitter that she's meant to be a more laid back hero, way closer to place and forget than a heavy micro one.

Her whole kit is so clunky that it makes her incredibly micro intensive. Scatter missile has a weird delay and can be a hit or miss depending on targeting. Same goes for Kinetic Charge. Swapping between Laser and Grenade, repositioning her, properly timing her Flight Boost so she doesn't fly back (and stop attacking) at the worst situation. Her kit is so slow and and clunky that you need to think a lot when trying to use this hero even just for her base power
i like rosalia’s buffs, but i still feel like she needs more unique things to bring to the towers she buffs, like obyn with magic monekys/druids, but for military/techy towers
Yeah she should buff engineers or something. That would actually be quite worth. Early game Overclock, Sentry Champion, etc. She could also buff tacks like the Tack Zone path but that may be too far.

I uploaded a video response. You see me able to get Camo FF on Round 84, which honestly is earned for Camo Spectre barely boosted by Jungle Drums (IE still weaker than a DPS Spectre that isn't) coming through against a MOAB farm from Kinetic Charge at a time when I didn't have Flight Boost to check it. It's as I say: Scatter Missile works better as a flood buster than a leak buster. Something I should point out is that Scatter Missile and Kinetic Charge are both Explosive Type across all Levels, so neither one damages even sighted DDTs without external aid. Believe me, it's absolutely dumb with Kinetic Charge as a whole, though Scatter Missile being Explosive is forgivable even for Round 63. I figure I would point this out since you used Kinetic Charge on DDTs. I fully agree that Rosalia needs buffs. I have a topic on the Steam Community Hub with my suggestions, minus patching out the potential RNG of dumping Rosalia to be by an inactive track when she is deployed. Rest assured that my suggestions do include having Rosalia actually attack when moving from a movement order.
Ive been saying this but they need a super test server for creators ATLEAST to try updates prior upon release by like 2 weeks to give insight and bug fixes before hand. Similar to world of tanks on pc but they allow everyone its completely open.
That would be great and likely solve a lot of NK's balance probmels. Granted - the content creators aren't balancing experts, they have biases, bad takes etc. But NK's biggest problem is that they say they want to do something in the explanation, but then the actual balance change is so detached from what they say they are doing it's achieving nothing if not the opposite. Content creators would catch these cases
Yeah not like WOT though it's open and anyone can play the update I believe like a month or two in advanced I also think NK picks who gets to have early access, not for sure but I've seen a couple bloons creators mention they weren't chosen for the early access some updates. They "NK" allow it for getting attention to the new content more so than "WG" War gaming do it for testing and bug fixes. This is just an idea because I think NK gives them pre set/made accounts for the update and WG has a whole server specifically for testing. I think if they just sacrificed a little more time and money to do so now it may save them more in the long run.

I think there should be a toggle where you can automatically change positioning between two points every round for Rosalia Heli or maybe dark knight. It would be so much easier than having to change it every round on maps like these.

I was doing Bloonarius prime on Chimps before this buff with spectre, Rosalia and a couple support towers. I almost saved up for a flying fortress but I was missing 1k money so yeah, this buff does matter because I literally would have won if not for that. After that I beat it with MAD+PoD strat
i feel like a 15% price reduction on aircraft towers would make her an actually appealing option compared to, like, every other hero. i also think that her level 20 price reduction could affect a few different "robot-y" towers, namely the sentry champion, permacharge, and M.A.D. the only thing anyone is using her for currently is her ability to lower prices, so leaning into that role seems like the best direction for nk to take her, the same way they pushed obyn even harder into his magic support role by giving him extra buffs to druids.
The thing is that no matter what tier 5's she discounts, it's still a level 20 upgrade, and she doesnt reach level 20 by r100, which feels extremely useless. Even if she did reach level 20 before the end of a game, I don't think discounting tier 5's makes sense considering your defense is already done at that point, and you probably have all the tier 5's you need. Even for super lategame runs you probably already have a ton of farming going and don't really need the discount. Idk the concept of her level 20 is very flawed to me and probably should be changed.

Isn't the "attack while moving" thing a problem for every Monkey that can do the same via ability? I'm pretty sure the Heli stops attacking when you use Chinook, and same goes for the Super Monkey (tho that one is really fast)
As someone whos on a journey to black border every map and has 25 maps left, so Id consider myself still a semi casual... I have zero interest in this character whatsoever. I feel like this wouldve been a better character as a tower rather than a hero. I feel like Psi has a similar learning curve if you're unfamiliar with both characters and Psi is significantly more rewarding. This basically feels like Etienne 2. Both pretty underwhelming at their release.
Rosalia is an okay hero but she still needs buffs cause the cases where she is the best hero option/needed are still too little. And her level 10 ability needs serious work to be better against the denser round like 98, maybe by having up to 3 charges each sent out to a different Moab class bloon then having all the accumulated energy gained evenly spilt between the 3 targets so it has better group damage but retaining it’s single target damage.
Honestly even if she was the best hero I still just hate using her. Shes a weird inbred hybrid of micro and "just plop her down" that makes her annoying. Sauda destroys everything near her simple as that. Corvus/geraldo require intense focus and micro-ing to get value out of, so I know going in to dedicate my attention specifically to them. Rosalia has just enough "just put her down" to where I get lazy and don't move her or switch weapons much, but she also has just enough micro-ing to where if I'm not paying attention to just her then she's not getting most of her value. She just really doesn't feel good. Thats also ignoring that the anti bloon upgrade is just stupid, if it made all t3 and up mid path super monkey upgrades cheaper maybe, but as is... Whats the point?

I think Kinetic charge should exchange some extra dmg for more instant dmg would be better. As for the Anti-Bloon discount, I would suggest she would lv up faster so that 30% is usable, though might nerf Anti-Bloon, which is not fun.

If anything, the workshop should end up with a later Range increase for convenience with both available movement and late Ace deploys. - lv. 20 Guardian Automaton price reduction should be higher. 30% on Anti Bloon is pointless when her leveling is too slow anyway so that you need to buy levels I'd be for Guardian Automaton being at a lower Level with a lesser discount, just to get people to start seeing the other benefits of Level 20. It's tiring to see people overfocus on Guardian Automaton when that's the least of Rosalia's problems.
They should just make Rosalia like a heli give the option to follow mouse or patrol points and that sorta thing, of course still in her range not just like an actual map wide range hero

i think that the lvl 20 upgrade should let rosa get a permanent lvl 7 ability, changing the ability to do more attack speed instead

Well the engine clearly has support for moving while attacking (Heli and Ace), so the programming limitation is "Don't wanna do it" in that case

Rosalia is an okay hero but she still needs buffs cause the cases where she is the best hero option/needed are still too little. And her level 10 ability needs serious work to be better against the denser round like 98, maybe by having up to 3 charges each sent out to a different Moab class bloon then having all the accumulated energy gained evenly spilt between the 3 targets so it has better group damage but retaining it’s single target damage.
Honestly even if she was the best hero I still just hate using her. Shes a weird inbred hybrid of micro and "just plop her down" that makes her annoying.
Sauda destroys everything near her simple as that. Corvus/geraldo require intense focus and micro-ing to get value out of, so I know going in to dedicate my attention specifically to them.
Rosalia has just enough "just put her down" to where I get lazy and don't move her or switch weapons much, but she also has just enough micro-ing to where if I'm not paying attention to just her then she's not getting most of her value. She just really doesn't feel good. Thats also ignoring that the anti bloon upgrade is just stupid, if it made all t3 and up mid path super monkey upgrades cheaper maybe, but as is... Whats the point?

QoL changes for Rosalia:
- when moving her around she should fly way faster and not have the delay of getting up and getting down
- Kinetic Charge should just soak through layers (actual buff)
- Scatter Missiles delay should be shorter so it doesn't chase a random pink bloon before it actually fires
- When Flight Boost ends she should keep shooting while she flies back to her position
- lv. 18 should make her Flight Boost permanent instead of having to spam it
- lv. 20 Guardian Automaton price reduction should be higher. 30% on Anti Bloon is pointless when her leveling is too slow anyway so that you need to buy levels
I think Kinetic charge should exchange some extra dmg for more instant dmg would be better.
As for the Anti-Bloon discount, I would suggest she would lv up faster so that 30% is usable, though might nerf Anti-Bloon, which is not fun.

Flight speed should be better, definitely, but I'd be for Rosalia still attacking when moving in the first place. ...ah, you suggest that too, I notice. Okay then.

A possibility to be sure, but the 1500 Damage default already kills non-Fortified BFBs' default layer, so this idea may be an overbuff. Look for my suggestions topic on the game's Steam Community Hub to see what I had to say for alternative ideas.

SM is best used as a way to break buddy systems and floods. Are you're sure you're using it correctly?

Even without the haphazard movement, unless this notion would be possible to toggle off (doubtful that would happen), as this would compromise Rosalia's versatility in target selection leading, this would likely have the problems everybody complains about with Etienne's Permanent UCAV, and more. If anything, the workshop should end up with a later Range increase for convenience with both available movement and late Ace deploys.

I'd be for Guardian Automaton being at a lower Level with a lesser discount, just to get people to start seeing the other benefits of Level 20. It's tiring to see people overfocus on Guardian Automaton when that's the least of Rosalia's problems.
