Hey Ed! I’m just checking in to see how you’re doing these days?
Good work on that Swan man! I recently acquired a Swan 16 hole chromatic…at a garage sale on the pay what you can table! I gave her $60 as it came with a couple other decent Hohner diatonic harps and I wanted to be fair…she was thrilled about that and so was I…it’s no Hohner 64 but it does the job. Anyhow I hope you’re well my friend. God bless you Ed🙏❤️😎👍

Hi Pat. I'm still hanging in there just about. I think music is keeping me alive and reasonably sane. I'm being coaxed left right and centre to make videos and make music too if possible. Instrument collection still growing as is your own I see. Like yourself I'm an easy touch for used instruments and find it impossible to stop buying even broken ones that I try to repair and give a new life to. Ones I don't playing again I transform into something else. Recently I made Clarinet and bugle desk lamps and gave them away. So I can make more. I recently met up with an old friend I hadn't seen in over 30 years. We used to play guitar together..we knew about 6 chords between us. He plays harp now and he live not far away from me ( in Northern Ireland terms nowhere if far away compared the mighty vastness of Canada its only about 100 square miles) so we've met up to start jamming again. I've been at how much he's grown as a musician. He has been performing on stages for years unlike myself who can't hardly perform in from of himself in a mirror. He has told me that he's going to have me performing performing on stage somewhere before the curtains descend to bring to and end our own acts in the play of life. I think he will and its funny but I think I'm almost ready for it. Anyhow Pat good to talk to ye. Speak soon.

Hey great playing Edward! Thanks for the shout out!
As far as the chromatic goes, I play in third position blues style without the slide. The root is the first draw note. They are so fun to play…I’m really glad you picked one up!
    Cheers Edward!😎

I got one of those Swan harps, and it was perfect right out of the box. Seems like quality control may be dodgy…you are in for a gamble.

Hey bro, I’m a diatonic harmonica, student rather than player. I’m not there yet. I also bought a nice chromatic harmonica, in fact I now have three of them. And this is the reason I’m writing this. On a video a good diatonic harmonica player suggested playing the chromatic the full length with either the slide in or out, that’s not the correct way but it still gives me a large range and I think the chromatic has a different though equally as nice sound. Some times I play one verse slide in, next verse out, or vice versa. It’s a source of inspiration.

I also have this Echo Harp Hohner, it's just a pity, not screws are used, but only fine nails, it's difficult for us, if you want to clean it, using fine nails, over time it can be damaged, thank you

I know what you mean. I dip a toothpick into wood glue and put it in the oversized nail hole. Then when it dries I trim it down flush and this gives the nails something to grip on to again. I have also used small screws to replace the nails.

I would love to hear from you again Edward. Ive enjoyed your videos to such an extent that the words I choose to use, even to begin to attempt, to paint and draw and sketch the epitome and steady constant curves of functions of unknown equations, that lovely lover, that somber man, how could one not love? I would love to hear from you again. Margaret Im sure, knowing you in such a depth I could never, loves each and every pluck, each striation and contraction on bundles of sarcomeres as you play. Dont you think, that there is the slightest delusion or possibility that stars can hear the waning waves of sound? Logic and sense? To hell with that! The stars can hear, and the waves of sound propagating through the unpropagateable is a certainty, i can only hope. Stars love your playing Edward. And so does your sister

Certainly succeeded in triggering wonder and amazement. I will do something. I have tried, but disappointment in inability to control, contract and relax those once well behaved bundles make me erase. Maybe I'm too demanding. Maybe I'll never be content with what I produce. I must remind myself that it's not always about me. Sometimes others see a perfect pluck and and hear a beautiful note where I see and hear nothing but the need for improvement. Does that ever end? Never. Not one second's peace from that old rub. I'll try to bring others a bit of joy. Soon, hopefully. Thanks.

Cred ca mult mai bun e scheletul muzicutelor din plastic decat de lemn .La salivare abundentă scheletul muzicutei fiind din lemn se umflă si se rănesc buzele interpretului instrumentist .
