I went here late july early august 2018 and i can say this place is as good as it looks, food people and entertainment all 10/10

Great video Nicole. Thanks for sharing and highlighting the resort. I am Jamaican and love when others love on my island like this. I am visiting the resort in June. Your video has been super helpful, especially the note about long pants. I have traveled with family and friends who unfortunately could not eat with us at certain restaurants because of that requirement at some resort restaurants.

This video was really helpful in making our decision to go here on vacation! You could make a decent living off your RUclips channel just travelling to resorts and doing these video reviews!!! It got so many views just on it's own, but with some proper tagging I bet you'd really crush it. Seriously look into developing a solid tagging strategy for these & monetize your videos!

Memph10 C bring long pants/ non-jeans for the formal restaurants. We didnt pack my husband any appropriate pants for the formal restaurants but we still enjoyed the food and mainly we ate at the buffet. The food is very flavorful and authentic. Enjoy your vacation you will have an amazing time.

Riu Reggae is worth it. You will have access to the sister resort next door, Riu Montego Bay.
Did you have to make reservations for any of the restaurants?
Nicole, I have one last question. Was this a "frontal sea view" or standard sea view? Also, did you find the resort to be crowded on ocassions with visitors from Riu Palace?
No the resort is not crowded at all but the pool party is pretty lit that the only times its a lot of people in the pool. We had the frontal sea view. I am not sure what the standard see view is but how the resort is built, I think is a room that will have a "side view" of the sea.
This is beautiful... may i ask what month did u go, im trying to book a vacation with the hubby and we are thinking about going in November to not worry about hurricane season? And also how did u book ur trip... did u book on their site or a travel page like expedia?

Quick question how much was your whole trip from the food to the hotel stay & everything & I have one more which time would be the best for this trip around December during winter or summer ?
You should check the prices online. I went in May so prices may vary depending on the seasons. I am pretty sure we spent around $1500 for 4 nights that we stayed. The resort is all-inlcusive so the price will include drinks and food.
Great overview video. Planning a trip here soon. So glad to find this. Couple quick questions. Is the minibar included in the “all inclusive, so you’re not being charged extra for anything in it? Second, do you think it’s better as a couple thing or a girls trip. Kinda want to go with my fiancé but my sister and I are thinking of coming here for her upcoming milestone bday (30th). Christal Williams hey thanks for watching! Honestly the resort was nice for couples & girls trip!!!! The resort is pretty lit. The minibar in the room is included! Everything included except for the spa services & excursion activities off the resort. There were a lot of couples & a lot of single people.

This is an adults only hotel. There are no children nor children drinks. Are you asking about virgin cocktails? You can order a soda from the swim up bar.

Hey girl. I am glad you enjoyed the video. Most places except american cash but may give you change in Jamaican dollars. I would recommend taking a couple about 200 US and covert it to Jamaican money. We definitely did a lot of things off the resort and hung at the local spots and having the Jamaican dollars makes things easier. Enjoy. How long are you all staying for?

Carmen Peguero yes there are loval clubs the taxi will take you too but honestly the resort is pretty fun. If you go visit The Pier and Margaritaville. They have taxis waiting at the front of the resort to take you to the local clubs
Great video me and my wife will be going there in July we would like to know what room number did you stay in because we really like to have that view. We've also visited Riu Palace a couple of times it was amazing...

Hey there. Was there things to do within walking distance of the resort? I heard you talking about leaving the resort occasionally
The only thing walking distance is the sister resort next door, Riu Montego Bay. However, we did leave the resort via taxi. At the entrance of the resort there is a taxi station. Make sure you utilize the taxi drivers there because they are contracted through the resort. They will also give you recommendations on what clubs, markets etc to visit off the resort.

TASHA MCGHEE thanks! The night club is at the sister property right next door however. You would rather go off the resort to margarittaville or the pier. The hotel taxis will take you.

Hey me and my wife are thinking about this resort for March. Was there nightlife fun on resort? How was the "Turn up"
Adontae Woolridge I’ve been to the resort it really is beautiful. They have nightlife just about every night, parties and all types of entertainment, dance shows, twerk contest folk eating fire all types of stuff it was lit. The staff are extremely nice and try their best to incorporate the guest in the parties and entertainment. The buffet is delicious, but it will make you poop as to most food in Jamaica. You can also reserve a table for a nice four course meal, quite romantic tbh. The spa is really nice as well. You also have access to the rui next door to go to their parties and such. I do recommend going into town though to “authentic” parties.
