    I see Mercury is now making electric outboards, that would have been your quickest way to make is sing across the lake AND remain environmentally friendly! But I see you decided to get rid of it as-is, so ‘twas a good thought.

      Installing even a 4-stroke engine, let alone an electric motor, would have been the single largest way to spend a ton of money and completely ruin that boat at the same time.
      At that point, it would have all been on a path towards the dumpster!!!

      We actually ended up selling the boat - not really because we couldn't handle it, but because the Feathercraft market at the time was hot, and we ended up getting enough out of it that we couldn't resist moving it along.

      😂never though of it that way - we'll have to employ that tactic on the next thing we sell!
