The attendance Was usually near 50/50: at the games. Banners and flags were banned and some of the Glasgow Cup Old firm games were limited to 25,000. In Scotland the fans leaving early happened somewhere every week. It was nothing to do with rivalry,it could be if a team had a couple of poor games in a row. The i won't be back, was because of a run of poor games and not because of the score. It has been known for them to cheer on the opposition.
