"Thriller, Bad & Dangerous" these three albums, I've bathed in from my childhood. When the album "Dangerous" came out, it was like a big BANG in the musical world, and that song "Remember the time", it hits us worlwide
I remember when this video came out. It was so hyped and an event. They had it on the news here. I think it was a live premiere, but could be wrong. It's been a while :P He was impossibly huge in his prime.
AWESOME!!!!! MJ Choreography and vocals simply amazing!!! You Rock My World is another amazing feature! Several guest stars and again…the music and choreography are outstanding!
I am so glad you reacted to this one. I LOVE this song so much and the video was almost like a movie! It is one of my favorite videos by MJ. I love Eddie Murphy in this, with David Bowie's wife, Iman playing Eddie Murphy/Pharoh's wife in the video. She is stunnily beautiful... Model and all that! The guy ringing the gong is Magic Johnson- Basketball star! I think this was around the time he found out he had AIDS. The Pharoh's wife is VERY INTERESTED in MJ hahaha!! Eddie Murphy's facial expressions are SO funny... haha (My comments are before I see you react) Agree after watching, MJ's voice was beautiful in this... I know he always wanted to keep the high voice, but his lower voice was just a great.
In this video his choreo kept him dancing in the smallest area of any of his video catalog, but he was so smooth & flawless with it he still owned the whole stage. Masterclass.
This is my favourite music short film from Michael Jackson! I've watched it more than 10 times but I can't get enough of it and Eddy Murphy's reaction when Michael took that look on his queen😂that's my favourite part in the video. Legends never die! Michael is irreplaceable!
Man, growing up in the 80s when an artist like MJ dropped an album it was a friggin' EVENT. Every kid in the neighborhood and at school would be buzzing about their favorite song or video...it was a great time for music. Seeing the Thriller video for the very first time is one of those experiences I'll remember for the rest of my life...
The unannounced appearance of celebrities being in this video was a very clever and refreshing twist. It brought in some fun antics from some fun people instead of just back up dancers. Michael Jackson had done so many breakthrough things in his videos that it is hard to find something new to top the last but still he managed to do it. 👍🏻
This song like all those on the Dangerous album is for me synonymous with happiness! I was 23 years old, I was having fun like crazy. I was dancing in a nightclub (In France) on all the remixed tracks ! This has been the happiest and most intense period of my life
it’s amazing that he posted this video of him reacting to michael when today is the 12 year death anniversary of michael. i will always remember him and love him
When this music video has its world premiere it was an event (all his music video premieres and album releases were a huge deal!) I was 12 years old and we all gathered in the living room to watch it, every major network aired, and even as a pre-teen girl I knew what I was watching was very rare, and very special as I was completely mesmerized by this man and his genius!
An MJ video was not just a music video... It was a worldwide cultural event the like of which we will never get to see again. Imagine the reception of all MCU movies being released at the same time worldwide and then increase it 10 fold. People from all generations tuned in to watch the latest Michael Jackson video in whatever TV channel got the exclusive rights where you lived.
Not to mention that MJ was the only artist big enough to get the best CGI available at the time. It may look dated now, but it was like magic at the time.

You have no idea the anticipation that lead up to a Michael Jackson video release. ❤☺
In The Closet, Who Is It, Give In To Me, Dirty Diana...amazing songs you should check out.
The KING!!
"Thriller, Bad & Dangerous" these three albums, I've bathed in from my childhood. When the album "Dangerous" came out, it was like a big BANG in the musical world, and that song "Remember the time", it hits us worlwide
A Michael Jackson movie video production 😊 no one makes videos like him
Please check out You Rock My World, Dirty Diana and Scream. R.I.P to one of the worlds greatest artists, has been 12 years today since we lost him
So good singing, what a groove feeling.
This is the reaction I was waiting for.
Remember the time is one of my favorite songs from all times!❤
YEY!!! I'm so happy you did this one. Now try " You Rock my World" by MJ!!
Yes! The full video
This music video is legendary! Remember always trying to catch it when it was on MTV.
Michael never called them "music videos".... He made "short films".....
We didn't deserve this guy. Shame what people did to him after all the joy and coolness he brought into the world.
Amen!
12 years today...rip the king
In this video his choreo kept him dancing in the smallest area of any of his video catalog, but he was so smooth & flawless with it he still owned the whole stage. Masterclass.
Iman, a super model during the 90s portrait as the queen.
I still love Michael Jackson til this day!!❤❤😭😭😭
This is my favourite music short film from Michael Jackson!
MJ took this jam and ate it for breakfast, brunch, lunch, mid afternoon tea, supper and then had a crafty nightcap.before bed!
A lovely song here from Michael! The man with the magic touch magical. Awesome.
Love this song and dance routine to it
The unannounced appearance of celebrities being in this video was a very clever and refreshing twist.
Yeah, MJ videos are always big productions. 👍
One of my favorites!
Michael jackson is a legend. Yes I said "is". Legends never die.
