These are the current defending champions, Sharks you cannot switch off for two minutes. Thankfully for you guys you had a large enough lead but still. They are the Crusaders as was of the URC. You cannot give them an inch

The wheels on the Glasgow #16! He was hugging the touchline on that last play and ran a good support line. He deserved the score.

No it doesn't, we were awful.
Yeah. The Sharks hardly got anything from the ref. At least another 30 points left out there by our superior boys. I think the he penalised the sharks for the last time in the 20th minute which is quite ridiculous. We deserved longer than 60 mins without conceding a penalty.
Tbh thought Sharks got the rub of the green on a lot of decisions.
Was surprised Etzebeth (great player) was not shown yellow or at least penalised for the hands/fingers in the eye area of Venter.
Breakdown was all over the place - Glasgow could do nothing right it seemed in the refs eyes.

World rugby has to rework the head contact. There is intentional or with force. Then there is standing squared for a tackle and the ball carrier ducks his head into the shoulder. Every match is card after card for incidental head contact.
They've just announced the 20 minute reds, pay attention
Especially when the ball carrier is driving head first into the tacklers shoulder
The tackler in that situation can only take the hit and has less than a second to adjust their body position
He's too high, you risk head contact even if it's not intentional.
@@toma411 I'm not talking about red v yellow. I'm talking about this being anything more than a penalty the majority of the time. Cards used to be based on intent. I remember when I could put a boot to an off-sides player at the ruck, then it went to just don't put the boot to their head. We are creating so many penalties it's detracting from the game. If the tackler lines someone up and hits them in the head, yes it should be a card. But if it's incidental, it shouldn't be a card.
You obviously didn't watch the Scarlets vs Bulls game. Two head contacts by Scarlet players only resulted in one penalty and the second head contact wasn't even reviewed. What are you talking about?
That tackle was almost identical to the one that saw the Bulls player red carded yesterday...
The ball carrier here dipped into contact, the one yesterday didn't. It's not rocket science guys, though I know you lot ain't exactly brainboxes.

Again, this is why we don’t trust the NH to make laws around cards. What else is the player expected to do in that situation? He’s lowered his body height, bent at the hips. What exactly is the outcome that world rugby is hoping to achieve by carding players who have done everything they can to make a safe tackle? Should players just not even try anymore? Cards should be for penalising foul play, full stop. There’s no reason that accidental collisions should be anything more than a penalty. There are no teachable outcomes for carding players who have done everything they can to make a safe tackle, yet accidental head contact has occurred.
