Probably missing some details, but my understanding is this. Eeveelutions always have the same base stat spreads, but in different stats. As a result each of them has one stat that has a very high 130 and then a second stat at 110, with the rest somewhere between 60 and 85. For example, Jolteon has the 130 in speed and the 110 in special attack, but for Espeon the BST for those two is flipped with the 130 in sp att and 110 in speed. Vaporeon has the 130 in hp and the 110 in special attack. Combine that with sp Def being the next highest and you have a solid sp Def wall that can hit hard with special attack. And that's what it normally does as it has a low speed in the 60s. And this is why shell smash vaporeon is particularly dangerous as you take that high special attack and double it, then make it twice as fast, and you have an ultra hard htting sweeper that actually has decent bulk

this guy is literally the best definition of what people are supposed to show during games like this: you have to have some confidence in yourself, but also have loads of humility. Most of the toxic players that temp6t fights wear their ego in the most cocky way possible; they can't handle their ego being shattered, like they need to win in order to feel complete. This guy also has that confidence, but instead of portraying it like a mask and making it seem like winning is his only identity and not accepting defeat with the humblest of hearts, the guy shows it like a badge of honor; he's still showing it, but he doesn't make it into what he needs to do. Humility is one of, if not, the most morally justifiable trait that you can bring in any game, its not a matter of knowing 100% that you can win, but its best to think that you can lose in the same thought. Being humble softens that landing because anyone who goes in all cocky like thinking they're obviously going to win won't end well if the opposite happens; you need to go in and think of both at the same time. Obviously, you need some pride in your skill or work, but you also need to show some vulnerability and have the humility to accept anything that happens. Confidence can be shattered, but humility can help rebuild that confidence into something better. I give my absolute props to 16 bit metal for not taking these losses as a knife to the heart but rather a pleasantly annoying time experiencing something you never thought was possible.

It also showcases that he is willing to learn new tricks, it just took someone to open his eyes to the possibilities
ok but I had a stroke reading because too big. Thx
bro wrote an essay 💀💀
jumpscared me when i clicked “show more”
@@door9875 You should bring that up to your doc, it sounds worrying since for once the wall of text doesn't have wattpad-grade english in it and read like a dyslexic stroke victim wrote it.
As a dude who almost exclusively plays rando battle, your vids show me what the game can truly be
- The team only works with the element of suprise
- Yeah that's why I want a rematch *proceeds to bring out an entirely differemt team*
The editing in these vids is amazing - the music, the sound effects, the comedic timing - you transform these battles man, good job!
i mean the sound effects could be improved SLIGHTLY, but other than that his videos are amazing
"ok" "HAUUUUUUU" makes it
Hi, someone know what is the name song at 3:10 please ?
@@antoinel1646 quartz quadrant Sonic CD
I like how every move has a dedicated funny sound.
He really is the ideal person to match with with troll teams like this, so non toxic and just enjoying the game.
Props for telling the guy about the lucky punch, because I didn’t know that even existed and I would’ve been furious at that point. Best thing of crits I’ve ever seen was 2 in a row, then a hit on some less than 100% accurate move, then a third crit.
This is probably the most wholesome opponent you’ve ever put up on the channel! Good video
8:02 I mean... he asked for them
That Chansey vs Lando sequence from 3:28 is the funniest thing I have ever seen
"You're super lucky I hope you know that"
"I *know* "
Somehow the text to speech voice said that in the perfect smug tone

"who the hell gives someone 3 battles just to beat them all 3 times?"
temp6t is a gentleman. He's just doing as he should.
He was a good sport about this. Rematching because he wanted the challenge, and willing to learn.
Good on him
I have no idea how I ended up here, as I haven't played Pokémon since Red/Blue on Gameboy, but regardless of not having a clue what's going on, this video was funny as hell! No context needed!
Also, this video has one of the most wholesome comment sections I've ever seen on gaming YT video. Good job, Pokémon community!
I like how people always ask for rematches, even though a rematch means using the same team, but they usually change their team to counter whatever strategy was used.
that crit on garaydos wouldn't even have mattered since it's 4x weak to electric. the game just wanted to make 16-bit suffer more then he already is xD
A pokemon with 4x weakness to electric, with electric terrain, and rain. What could possibly go wrong?
@@e-d3_4all0ut3 Why would rain matter? Rain doesn't boost electric type moves. It just makes Thunder (which he wasn't using) bypass the accuracy check.
@@MINTY_FN oh ok
@@MINTY_FN it adds to the effect :)
@@TheDart88 If the Chansey Dynamaxed Thunder Punch into Max Lightning, we're looking at a 130 base power physical electric move with a 119-possible max atk physical Chansey that's doing 2x damage plus the 4x weakness, so the crit may not have mattered as much if the Gyarados has a -def nature or doesn't have def EV-trained.
If it was defensive though yeah crit absolutely mattered there.
Man, tempt is so lucky to learn from his past experiences...
Tbh after all the fun I had watching toxic trolls rage I found this vid kind of wholesome in a funny way. 16-bit Metal you're a salty good sport. This is my fav vid from this channel.
I've never seen this channel in my life but I'm happy the holy RUclips gods have blessed me with this
Pokemon Showdown is always an even playing field. Getting tricked/outplayed is simply a mind gap.
this dude single handedly made me regain faith in the showdown community
It’s crazy how I’ve been playing Pokémon since Red released in the US but I still constantly learn new things. Never knew lucky punch was an item before, much less a gen 2 item.
it's an extremely rare item due to it only appearing on WILD chansey with a low rate, so not only do you have to catch or steal from the very rare pokemon that is likely to flee, you also have to have the item spawn on them. Berserk Gene used to be a thing too but was probably deemed too powerful or something
@@nathanielbass771 Berserk Gene was actually terrible. It was PERMANENT confusion.
@@nathanielbass771 I remember thinking it was so cool randomly finding berserk gene but then it was a) permanent confusion and b) a single use item if i remember correctly so there was no benefit to having it in game.
@@Skullhawk13 depended upon luck mostly but it was powerful. It gave a free +2 to attack at the cost of confusion (single use only)
@@Rouz102 yeah, it was link battles and battle tower only. a free +2 attack at the cost of a confusion that doesn't wear off unless switched. Single use as well unlike leftovers
Thank you for not overusing the "uuuuuuuugh" sound effect. I still have PTSD from that one video when it was like *constant*.
Salty yet Honorable. We need more good sports like this guy
can we also appreciate the primal fear of tapu bulu at chansey's reappearance at 3:24 and subsequent pummelling of landorus
LOL I was going to say that
No the -69% hp
Awesome to see such a close match on the third round. Genuinely believed it could go either way since he had some solid strategies.
Salty yes, but not a bad loser. Guy legit put in effort and reacted surprisingly well. Hope he has fun with these teams, good for him.
Not even salty, just a good sport, what an absolute legend.
Bro talks like a 90's anime villain when he pointed out Megagengar beats stall, then Deoxys defense whipped out the psycho boost, lmao.
I wish all players were like this guy. He learns from his defeats and isn't toxic about it

gawd, the end is so hilarious. Took it like a champ
"ugh... Stall teams are so boring!"
Temp: "I know, right?!" proceeds to steamroll with a stall team
The use of the TTS is so well executed in these. The way it reads the thumbnail is perfect!
"I won't fall for any tricks this time, it's an even playing field" No it's not you literally know his strats.
That's what makes it 'even'. Pokemon battles are about juggling metas. That's why Temp mopped three different floors with the guy.
@@marcusdranz Ok you're trolling go back to your cave

I love how this dude wasn’t even mad, just flabbergasted lol
Gotta love players like these that don’t act salty when they lose to such random teams. Especially the “stall” teams
actually lol'd a few times. the element of surprise really did it's job. ps i appreciate the added text when an item/ability was triggered, helps understand whats going on!
That’s actually a standard feature in Pokémon Showdown, presumably for that exact reason.
always nice when someone can be cocky as all hell yet still be nice enough to respect the plays and give a GGs at the end.
That man was wildly positive. I kept expecting the toxicity but it never came.
“It’s an even playing field”
1. He knows the team you’re running
2. He brought a new team
3. It’s full of ubers and meta mons
The sound effects are sublime, I'm laughing so hard. 😂😂😂🙏
Absolutely LOST my shit at the ice punch 3:50
Such an underrated moment. Such the perfect answer for landorus as well.
GG to the both of y'all. 16-bit for being a good player and not crying about stuff being unfair. And to temp6t for being cool about the rematches
Oh that poor man, you violated his mind while you crunched his Pokémon like a chip in front of Kirby! XD
he was a good sport and got taught something new, which is more than i can say for a lot of people that get featured on here
@@ILoveEvadingTax ohhh yeah.

You've been told over and over that your editing is so good, but, seriously, that "Wanna see me do it again?" bit broke me. My roommate was wondering why I was laughing so goddamned hard.
"Maybe you're just a noob"
1:24 Switches Gyarados into an already shown Max Lightning. 🤔
Half of that team was water and/or flying. It was honestly safer to eat the attacks from the dynamax he couldn't do anything about to let the alt form run out than it would be to let his other pokemon get murdered by it and then still have to deal with whatever electric move is being upgraded into Max Lightning.
Dude's brain exploded with that opening 😂
the small AAHH's that you put in keep killing me, damn XQC infected me with his lulz for it.
I had no idea what was going on, but the editing still makes this so funny lol
