Orang Aceh ramah karena agama mereka mengajarkan demikian, banyak sekali ajaran Islam yg menuntut/mengharuskan Muslim untuk berlaku baik kepada sesama manusia dengan imbalan pahala yg besar dari Allah, sehingga mereka akan berlaku baik kepada siapapun tanpa melihat siapa orang itu dan kekayaan mereka karena yg diharapkan hanya satu: pahala dari Allah. Orang Islam pasti tau itu dan berusaha menjadi seperti itu, orang Aceh adalah salah satu daerah Muslim yg berusaha melakukan hal yg sama seperti saudara mereka di belahan dunia yg lain.

Banda Aceh is a beautiful city. The people from Polem coffee shop is very friendly esp the family that paid your meal, they're very hospitable. and also they offered a ride. Kita bangsa yg doyan mengklaim sbg "negara religius" cukup introspeksi diri saja terkait: √ juara Olimpiade koruptor sedunia. √ banyaknya mafia & premanisme di kawasan obyek wisata, spt: palak oleh warga local di tiap tikungan (terutama Jabar & Sumut/D. Toba), parkir liar/jahat & mahal, pedagang sadis yg doyan mainin harga, dst. √ Budaya jorok, masih banyak sampah bercecer dimana².

Thanks for sharing this video. I am Indonesian but I have never been to Aceh. It looks like the people of Aceh looks more genuine kind (you can see from how they smile and interact with you, even the seller give you right price for the water) compare to other big cities in Indonesia. You know what I mean, sometimes people from big cities in Indonesia they get too much stress and stuff, it makes them selfish sometimes.

If you're still in Aceh area, try visiting Takengon. You will find the best coffee there. It's near coffee plantations. Both Gayo and Takengon coffee are superb. You can find coffee shop literally everywhere in Takengon.

hindu temple in Muslim city is supposed to be not surprising, because islam is Rahmatun Lil'Alameen, islam is the bless for the whole universe, no matter if you're hindu, christian, etc, you shall feel safe in a muslim city especially if it's ruled with Islamic shari'a. tsunami museum is pretty moving, i remember those days, i was 14, watching news everywhere, everyday is a mournful day. I'm not from aceh and i don't have family there, but i feel their sadness that time. very sad. 😢 BIG RESPECT to the beautiful family to treat you like you're one of them. as muslim and as Indonesian I'm so proud of them, thank you for giving such a good example for us, very inspiring.

It looks like the people of Aceh looks more genuine kind (you can see from how they smile and interact with you, even the seller give you right price for the water) compare to other big cities in Indonesia. You know what I mean, sometimes people from big cities in Indonesia they get too much stress and stuff, it makes them selfish sometimes.
It's a beautiful and special place.

If you're still in Aceh area, try visiting Takengon. You will find the best coffee there. It's near coffee plantations. Both Gayo and Takengon coffee are superb. You can find coffee shop literally everywhere in Takengon.

hindu temple in Muslim city is supposed to be not surprising, because islam is Rahmatun Lil'Alameen, islam is the bless for the whole universe, no matter if you're hindu, christian, etc, you shall feel safe in a muslim city especially if it's ruled with Islamic shari'a.
tsunami museum is pretty moving, i remember those days, i was 14, watching news everywhere, everyday is a mournful day. I'm not from aceh and i don't have family there, but i feel their sadness that time. very sad. 😢
