I don’t particularly like the whole ASMR thing, yet these videos which aren’t narrated, seem to hit a certain audience, heck, for years I’ve watched craft videos with fascination have no narration, so I suppose these videos appeal to some people, especially since it’s one of these ASMR videos I posted that has the most views. am I supposed really what I mean by ASMR is the fact that it’s nothing but the ambient noises from the studio, as opposed to there being a narration. I wish there was a better term but buzzwords like ASMR seem to be favoured by our overlords, the algorithm, so I’ll keep using it!
@@floriangadsby As you should, feed the beast that feeds you. There's another great bonus to videos that aren't narrated being that they're essentially internationally accessible. They transcend language, or at very spoken language. Just a maker and their craft, there's so much that can be communicated there. Let the hands speak their language, a language we all use.
Hi ..just wondering what the decibel reading is …my partner in a potter ..but we live in a strict unit complex …would this be louder than a tv ? Cheers
It’s easily quieter than a television, should be absolutely fine I imagine. I can’t find the exact decimal reading but I’m sure if you emailed Rohde they’d tell you!
