This is the 1st year I've started all my plants from seed. It's a wonderful Wintertime hobby, I can tell. Everything is thriving! Here in SE Idaho we have on average 108 days from Frost-Frost. The pole beans are at least 3 weeks ahead using 5 year old seeds. I soaked and sprouted them all, to ascertaine which ones (About 45% germination) were viable. I have them everywhere. Arches, raised beds etc. Yay, Dilly beans in about 90+/- days!

I’m in NC too and it’s so humid. Yesterday we had a surprise storm which provided much needed rain in my area. The humidity has caused some of my plants to suffer.

I will spend as much time in the garden as possible. It's so beneficial to me. From the Sunshine and fresh air to the harvest and the table it's all become important to me. Probably sitting on a little stool and just thinking about what I can plant or trellis or just sit there and watch it grow. I can't wait to see it in the morning and you know stuff is bigger than yesterday lol. It's mental therapy for sure. Even though it's frustrating and disappointing at times there's nothing like growing your own food. We have a small yard and we squeezed 8 4x10 feet raised beds in and have a side garden about 6x30. By the way white butterflys or moths are my enemy and we are not friends. If they win they get my Collard and Mustard greens if I win then we eat better. There is also a neighborhood groundhog but he hasn't been able to get in our garden. We're in 6b Pa having good weather but it's always windy.

I just love what you said from the sunshine and fresh air. I'd just love that that helps me relax. My Garden mean so much to me.Some Stressful days but feeling the sunshine shining on my face and fresh air in my lungs just a beautiful feeling. As far as white flies try using mint spray and as far as the moths I use BT. Happy Gardening

First time on your channel. Great video! Your food looks very healthy! I’ve never eaten Swiss Chard before but it was satisfying watching & listening as you harvested them. Those leaves are huge!!! I’m still in my beginners stage trying to grow food in containers. Im still going through trial & error. Soon I will be harvesting my red potatoes that I started 2 months ago. Im excited & hope they turn out ok. I planted a few radishes just to see if they would grow right & surprisingly I see 4 radishes at the surface of the soil that I will be harvesting!!! Thanks for your video!👏

The thing about gardening is no matter how seasoned you are in the garden we all are going to deal with trials and errors, some years we have a great year some year we do not. Just keep going and believe that you can always do better rather it is this year or later you will succeed. New beginnings Happy Gardening💚
