I listened again and cleaned my house for the second set. It the perfect set list for cleaning a house. Thanks again. Dude- that dude yelling dark star and golden road. I would have dosed him for that. Just sayin
I think that second set opener Melody is pretty darn epic. Long and full and comes back to the melody really beautifully. That's a high water mark Melody in my book. Seriously cannot beat Garcia band in 80-81 in the Bay Area and without the girls I get to sing back up so hey!
Yes a good solid drop or two of fluff and he would have found his Golden Road leading outside the front door where he could have stared at the Dark Star in the sky for the rest of the night while the rest of the attendance enjoyed the show. Had he yelled NFA he may have gotten that request but since they only played it one time 3 years earlier I would say he would be out of luck on that one too. Instead the recording has his voice imprinted on it for eternity.
@@veek.6463 played a couple halfway tolerable shows in early 1980 up here in the Northeast too. 😉✌🏽 Not since 73/74 had Jerry been as* absolutely en 🔥🔥 & never since.
