ok apparently this MV's meaning is all about them being lonely and just wishing for someone to stay. They are supposed to be in this "world" where no one is left and it's just them (hence, looking like a post-apocalyptic world). The swing that Jisoo sat down represents their longing to free, just like how when we swing, we feel as though we are flying and free. (not too sure abt that one ahaha). The jukebox at Jennie's scene represents old memories, bcos jukebox usually only plays old music sort of. so BP cant leave the place as they are still bound by the old memories of a certain someone. The 4 coloured smoke act as flares shot to let someone know that they are here and that they need help, as though calling for someone to come back to them almost. Lastly, the white figures(actual humans btw) at the end represents isolation, as they are supposed to be spirits or ghosts. This re-emphasises the idea of BP being all alone in a world where no one is there apart from them. oh and the last scene of the girls hugging and dancing ard happily shows how they will be ok together, even if no one is there anymore, as long as the 4 of them STAY with each other all is fine. All these bind in nicely with the lyrics of the song, which is of a lover longing for his/her partner to just stay with them :) HOPE THIS MADE U BETTER UNDERSTAND THE MV!! THANK U FOR REACTING BTW
in the making of the mv, rose mentioned about the meaning of the mv. basically it's a place that was full with people and somehow all of them left hence why it looks run down etc. because only four of them are stuck there.
the video made perfect sense....as ypu said its like a post apocalyptic video and i think its like comparing to how a person would feel if you lost or someone leaves you that why you ask them to stay.. its always a mess if someone important to you is trying to leave you or left..and the post apocalyptic environment describes that feeling inside you...like everythi g is destroyed and you feel mostly alone..but still ypu want them to stay despite all of it cause you love them
