This video doesn't make the slope feel that steep and fast but it scared the sht out of me going down it in the fog as a beginner!

It would help you to be looking further down the slope. Peripheral vision shows enough detail close up. Skiing is more about feeling, rather than seeing, the slope

Not black but can be a awful start in December and Jan. as it’s very icy. More like a blue flat out
